The speed of light doesn't add speed regardless of the speed of the headlight. Both lights emitted from the headlight and the headlight itself will be the same speed. 
Trying to outrun your headlights is like trying to download faster than the internet itself.

In your method of reciting what people choose to believe, the moment you break the speed of light, your headlights would be in your rear view mirror. And in that case even warp speeds at multiple speeds of life, one wouldn't ever be able to go back in history either.

I have discussions with ancestors, not their social narratives about life being more than mutually evolving in plain sight since conception.
