"The United States Attorney’s Office contacted the Federal Reserve on multiple occasions to discuss cost overruns and the chairman’s congressional testimony, but were ignored, necessitating the use of legal process—which is not a threat,” Pirro wrote in a post on the social platform X.

Seems like a reasonable request, why ignore it?

Deal:
Deal: Veghead claimed he already answered this question. LOL. If Veghead proves that he did indeed answer the survivorship multiple choice question below, as the question is written and asked, along with his defense of his answer, then I will agree to never come back. I am permabanned. Gone. Like a fart in the wind. If he cannot, then he is out of here for a month. Additionally, his defense cannot be "Because it fits my definition." That is a claim, not a defense. He is to defend why.  His evidence must precede the timestamp upon when this challenge has been agreed upon by both parties. Moreover, he must answer immediately when the mods say "go," That next post. Not the next 600 posts. Either Cannon or Deezer mods.

Exception: I will allow for an exception. If he loses, then I will allow him to stay if he answers it the way it is asked, along with his defense. However, he must do it immediately after the deal has been decided. Not 100 posts later. The very next post of his must be his answer/defense.
Which scenario is an example of survivorship bias in evaluating business success?

A) Believing that reading business books increases revenue after finding many CEOs recommend them.
B) Concluding that most startups fail after analyzing bankrupt companies.
C) Thinking entrepreneurship is easy because most media profiles focus on successful founders.
D) Surveying customers to understand why they chose your product over competitors

"to discuss cost overruns"?

WTF does The Chairman have to do with that?
Seems like a reasonable request, why ignore it?

It might be, if directed at the appropriate parties, and free of political taint.

At this point, Grafty has clearly exhausted the benefit of that doubt.

But since you put it that way...

Were you at all bothered by the fact that Jordan, Meadows and Grafty ALL declined to comply with subpoenas?

"The Chairman" is the one who made statements on cost over runs before Congress.

The receipts should match his testimony.

But then again Powell is not an economist, maybe the numbers thingy is a little over his head. Leave it to Trump to put in someone unqualified!

And if they don't?

We'll revisit this after you answer the question you dodged.
But then again Powell is not an economist,
Between 1990 and 1993, Powell worked in the United States Department of the Treasury, at which time Nicholas F. Brady, the former chairman of Dillon, Read & Co., was the United States Secretary of the Treasury. In 1992, Powell became the Under Secretary of the Treasury for Domestic Finance after being nominated by George H. W. Bush.[19][21][18] During his stint at the Treasury, Powell oversaw the investigation and sanctioning of Salomon Brothers after one of its traders submitted false bids for a United States Treasury security.[22] Powell was also involved in the negotiations that made Warren Buffett the chairman of Salomon Brothers.[23]

Between 2010 and 2012, Powell was a visiting scholar at the Bipartisan Policy Center, a think tank in Washington, D.C., where he worked on getting Congress to raise the United States debt ceiling during the United States debt-ceiling crisis of 2011. Powell presented the implications to the economy and interest rates of a default or a delay in raising the debt ceiling.[26] He worked for a salary of $1 per year.[28]

I'd say he can pull rank on any of the **** nipping at his ankles...

maybe the numbers thingy is a little over his head

Send in the new Fraud arm of the DOJ.

Oh, and thanks for confirming that Powell isn't a economist.

They will do, not what the facts warrant, but what they're told.

When do you plan to address the necessary questions your comments raise?

Lawfare? Quite possible, not that it's hasn't been happening for some time now.
