The guy had a SIG 320 which has a history of going off on it's own.  One theory floating around is that when the agents saw the gun one agent got the gun and it went off on it's own causing another agent to fire at the guy.

A tragic accident but one where the agent who fires must face disciplinary action.

Disciplinary Action??   They are actively covering up the crime scene so it is unseen.  MPD showed up to investigate aand they told them to bug off.
