So, no deal was made, no control changed hands, no path to statehood exists, no treaty was signed, and no referendum occurred. The only thing that changed is the attention, tone, and geopolitical messaging.
 
This is why I hate most Americans. I love America, but generally speaking, Americans are idiots. They so easily fall for clever rhetoric, semantics, and reframing without questioning anything. Trump framed this deal as a huge win for America. Fluffy language. Trumps rhetorical style created the illusion that a lot of people assume that if he says it enough, something must have happened. People who have the IQ above 100 are able to see through the refarming and clever rhetoric. 

So, what changed? Nothing.

Trump made a concept of a plan to make a framework?  It could be a revolutionary concept for him to actually use his god damned MAGAFried Brain. At least what is left of it.

Yeah that's what I saw to..  It was the tastiest nothing burger in awhile.
