The generation that I think you are claiming has outclassed the Boomers [when it comes to sitting at a computer and deciding which buttons are the best buttons to push]....was the very first generation of young American men in their 20s to have so many cases of sudden death from heart attacks while in military and police training.
This level of  weakness and helplessness with young American men  has always been exceedingly rare until the Nintendo Baby Generation came of age and got forced from the safety of Mommy's living room into the real world.

I made a trip to Canada in early 2025. A 60-75 something yr old man (who attended the local Presyb church) said when he was in his teens, the orchards and woods in almost all of Vancouver were absolut3ly massive. It was clearly designed to get people to play outside. 

Even grown men in their 30s and 40s would show up to their friends' houses and ask to go to the bar or local stadium or whatever.

With sprawling suburbs designed to keep people "safe," there is not much incentive to go outside anymore. Not to mention the rising rates of AUTISM / ADHD (which I'm sure the THFCs know the real reason for, but refuse to disclose) make the Nintendo babies perfectly suited to dicking around with a controller and screen for hours.

(And don't forget the helicopter parenting - "My kids are going to get kidnapped, so they have to stay home")

The Nintendo Babys were the first to be raised at  day care centers [like KinderKare]......thanks to [[[WOMENS LIB]]]

I imagine the pre schoolers spent most of the time watching TV.
Once they were old enough to enroll at  public school....once school was out playing Nintendo, eating Tater Tots and watching TV in Mommy's living room was how they spent the rest of their waking hours.
The streets and play grounds were all empty from the 1980s onward.

It's no wonder why juvenile  diabetes and artery disease became "a thing" with what has proven to be an even softer generation than what the Baby Boomers were.

Playing outside is  not any problem for Black Kids who are raised in Africa USA...!!
