We win. I hope we bomb the hell out of Iran. Their theocracy must die to the last man.

The US occupation of Gaza has begun
(Full article at above link)

The “Executive Board” that would control Gaza.
The Board of Peace is being set up as an international force to challenge the United Nations. It is currently populated entirely by far right and autocratic figures and will likely stay that way. The BoP will be headed by Donald Trump and his role as Board Chair is personal, disconnected from his role as President of the United States. He has full power over the Board’s composition and full veto power over all of its actions. Trump will remain in control of the BoP until he decides to leave or he dies, and he has the sole authority to name his successor. You couldn’t build a clearer autocracy. The BoP can delegate its authority as it wishes, and that is what it has done regarding Gaza. The “Executive Board” (EB) is the body that will govern Gaza. The EB itself will also have other areas within its portfolio, so it, too, has delegated its power to yet another group, dubbed the Gaza Executive Board (GEB). There is considerable overlap between the members of the EB and GEB.
The members of the GEB include some very familiar names like Steve Witkoff, Trump’s lead negotiator; Susan Wiles, his Chief of Staff; Jared Kushner, his son-in-law; and Tony Blair the former PM of the UK.
Palestinians not included in planning of Gaza's future.

We win? Supporting a nation that is actively committing genocide is about as anti-democratic as one can get.

Until you wake up to the fact that Islam is the enemy of human progress, I will not consider anything you have to say seriously.

Is this the hill upon which Islam will die? Of course not.
Is it really genocide or is it collateral damage (innocents) that's the problem?

Nothing but a mess . . .
Please seat yourself.

Absolutely. We should face the problem while we have the advantage. It is a problem that will not go away unless we make it go away. Isolationism doesn't work.

If progress were incompatible with Islam, you’d need to explain Islamic contributions to mathematics, medicine, astronomy, philosophy, and architecture that Europe later built upon. Broad claims like that usually signal ideology, not analysis.

Treating 1.9 billion people as a monolith isn’t serious thinking. If you want to critique specific doctrines or governments, name them. Otherwise, you’re just venting.

What are you advocating, that we bomb Minneapolis?

That's a little harsh,  don't you think?

Devil's Advocate arg is that the Islam that produced scientific progress may not be (is very likely not) equivalent to the Islam practiced today.

That being said, probably the best retort is just that being Israel's little biatch isn't appealing to most Americans, so there is hardly any "democracy" there either.

They actually have several noble prizes in science and medicine. In the 21st century alone, many of the mathematical breakthroughs that we use in AI and neural networks were teams of Islamic researchers. I work with those breakthroughs in my own work. In fact, American computer engineering companies work closely with KAUST (King Abdullah University of Science and Technology). They are one of the top universities in AI. Many STEM related industries are filled with Islamic scientists. Not to mention their work in chemistry in medicine. The researchers in some of the most top of the line DNA repair technology are Islamic.  They aren't hard to find. They definitely surpass our dumb *** society.

I was not aware of the achievements of Islamic STEM types. Thank you for that update.

One of the great things about being part of the science community is that we can access the great work and great minds around the world. Yes, Jews definitely have contributed immensely to science and tech. The difference is that they make damn sure the whole world knows it was them. Whereas the other religions, cultures, or group don't give a **** if people know who they are. They just love doing the work. Jews are quick to assign their achievements to their identity. Muslim researchers don't give a ****. They attribute their work to science. They don't seek recognition or validation.

Entirely wrong. Israeli outdistances every other demographic in Nobel prizes in science per capita. Arabic/Islamic 0
