Texas State Wall: Texas completed approximately 31.3 miles of its own border wall in 2024. The state began the year with 23 miles completed in February and reached 54.3 miles by late December 2024.
Federal Gaps: The Biden administration announced plans in November 2024 to close approximately 40 miles of gaps in existing barriers across Texas, California, Arizona, and New Mexico.

Federal "Smart Wall": Since January 20, 2025, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has completed approximately 29.5 miles of new border wall system as of early 2026.
Current Pace: By mid-December 2025, the construction rate reached approximately 2 miles per week, with plans to increase this to 10 miles per week.
Texas State Wall: Texas added at least 12.1 miles to its state-funded wall between January and June 2025, bringing its total to 66.4 miles before shifting focus to federal collaboration.

Contracts Awarded: In late 2025, the Department of Homeland Security awarded $4.5 billion in contracts to build an additional 230 miles of "Smart Wall" and waterborne barriers.

I am diving deeper into economic survivorship..  Running for congress seems very prosperous,  almost like live long and prosper spock type work.
