The only passenger in the car when an American citizen was shot dead by Immigration and Customs Enforcement in Texas last year has died in a separate car accident, according to a report.
“We believe Joshua’s account, and, as we have seen recently in Minneapolis, Chicago and elsewhere, it is critical that the public be shown every piece of evidence in the government’s possession, and that any witness come forward,” Stamm said.

Sounds to me like these young individuals didn't know how to drive and should never have been behind the wheel. This is a blessing in disguise, possibly saving a life from future disaster due to the hands of these individuals. Good riddance.

Orta detailed his version of events in a written statement, which was taken in September by lawyers representing Martinez’s family, for future legal proceedings. He was planning to sign the statement and cooperate with investigators hired by Marinez’s family before he died in a car crash on a San Antonio highway this past Saturday.
Statement is useless, he was waiting on a payment that never came as negotiations were not high enough, so he hadn't signed it at time of death. Add to that it doesn't amount to much when the state can't cross examine it all that happens is it gets read into record at best and most judges especially in a murder case will not allow it, not being signed, no way any judge allows this into a court case.
