Orta detailed his version of events in a written statement, which was taken in September by lawyers representing Martinez’s family, for future legal proceedings.
He was planning to sign the statement and cooperate with investigators hired by Marinez’s family before he died in a car crash on a San Antonio highway this past Saturday.
Statement is useless, he was waiting on a payment that never came as negotiations were not high enough, so he hadn't signed it at time of death. Add to that it doesn't amount to much when the state can't cross examine it all that happens is it gets read into record at best and most judges especially in a murder case will not allow it,
not being signed, no way any judge allows this into a court case.
So, let's recap the Ignorance here...shall we.
