Iran, in the 50s and 60s, had one of the most flourishing civilizations in the Middle East. They had top universities, rights for the people, and good jobs. Then corruption within their government gradually took over and that was that. That regime was overthrown by another corrupt regime. Fast forward 46 years, and now that corrupt regime will be overthrown by Israel. Another corrupt regime. Those poor people can't win. This is the same story for Iraq, Afghanistan, Georgia, Jordon, and Saudi Arabia. The people there are doomed. I don't know. Maybe God cursed that whole region indefinitely. 

I do genuinely feel bad for the people. I just can't see how anything could ever get better over there.

You cannot see how, because your educated interpretation of life doesn't follow natural time your body exists evolving in it equally alive each heartbeat forward since conception.

The difference between hopeless and helpless is how your(each ancestor's) brain navigates actual time alive as equally here or some gift from supernatural entities.

The world doesn't pay attention to me, that is apathy, not hate. I have same apathy towards people serving humanity since they ignore actual time evolving in plain sight, by choice.

Iran has everything it needed in the 1950's thru '70's to become a successful and prosperous country... EXCEPT it has an Islamic RADICAL group... that LIED to the Iranian people, took power, and then TURNED the country into a RADICAL Islamic Nation... and almost got the entire population KILLED !

TODAY, you have an Iranian people who have everything they NEED to prosper... INCLUDING a VIVID and CLEAR Memory of Islamic RADICALS, who TRIED to FORCE the to follow an IDIOTIC Religion, RIGHT OFF the CLIFF !!   BUT REALLY... RADICALS from almost ANY SOURCE (i.e. Liberalism, Marxism, whatever ?)... THEY CAN ALL be led by WACKO's, and THEY need to be AVOIDED at all cost...  VOTED OUT of power, FORCED out of Power, and otherwise REMOVED & SIDELINED at all cost.. Lest the "RADICALISM" will DESTROY YOU !!

THAT would be a good message for ALL people... BUT, WE ALL need to remember, that the WACKO Radicals will DO ANYTHING, and SAY ANYTHING, to get people to their side... because they KNOW the CAN NOT take power unless they have PEOPLE on their side.. and THAT is why a GOOD SENSE of RIGHT & WRONG, and GOOD & BAD is ESSENTIAL... Because for RADICALS... IF THE WANT it... it's GOOD... there's no argument !  HOWEVER,  most of us KNOW they difference between RIGHT & WRONG, and GOOD & BAD ... and THAT is how WE can PROTECT ourselves !!

as long as the old testament is more important to christians than Christ, yes.
