Iran, in the 50s and 60s, had one of the most flourishing civilizations in the Middle East. They had top universities, rights for the people, and good jobs. Then corruption within their government gradually took over and that was that. That regime was overthrown by another corrupt regime. Fast forward 46 years, and now that corrupt regime will be overthrown by Israel. Another corrupt regime. Those poor people can't win. This is the same story for Iraq, Afghanistan, Georgia, Jordon, and Saudi Arabia. The people there are doomed. I don't know. Maybe God cursed that whole region indefinitely. 

I do genuinely feel bad for the people. I just can't see how anything could ever get better over there.

the US gives money and weapons to israel to bully everyone  else so I say yes.

Why is the middle east called the middle east as it is the western end of the Asian continent. Greenwich Prime Meridian is the intellectual longitude that separates today midnight to noon from yesterday noon to midnight dawn to dusk each rotation forward now.

History validates this is the root of human corruption for the last 7,000 years. Context governs chromosomes daily here and it doesn't matter the ancestral lineage, generation gap, language used to keep all 5 generations staying on message every heartbeat forward now.

I don't directly, but I have no say over where elected officials send the tax revenues since they say one thing and act another way serving one type of social justification over another for the greater good of 7 predictable outcome tomorrows every week life is limited to every reproduction adapting to the moment here since conception into their relative position daily alive..

Islam is awful but they don't know any better.
More interesting to me is why it would ever "catch on" elsewhere when it isn't forced...
