DUBAI/JERUSALEM, March 17 (Reuters) - Defence Minister Israel Katz said on Tuesday the Israeli military had killed Iran's security chief and the head of its Basij militia in airstrikes overnight, and Tehran kept up attacks against Gulf neighbours that have pushed up energy prices.
Larijani would be the most senior figure assassinated since Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei was killed on the first day of Israeli-U.S. airstrikes on February 28.
Katz said Gholamreza Soleimani, the commander of Iran’s Basij forces, had also been killed.

Good for TRUMP. He asked them to "help" with securing the Hormuz Strait, and they have refused. Now, the little Slack-Jawed bitches are concerned about their "safety".
I say, defend your own ships, and defend your own country.
You act like it doesn't
Oh, I understand that perfectly, jackass, and that's the reason that Trump is seriously considering the ramifications of dropping out of NATO, which no doubt you wouldn't mind seeing happen as much as me.Cannonpointer » 16 Mar 2026, 5:01 pm » wrote: ↑ Trump asked. They said no.
Turkey did NOT ask.
What do YOU not understand about that, fruit loop?
No they have not!Cannonpointer » 16 Mar 2026, 4:20 pm » wrote: ↑ Has Turkey asked for help under Artical 5, asshole? YES OR NO?
Your opinion of the Iran action is irrelevant.Cannonpointer » 16 Mar 2026, 4:18 pm » wrote: ↑ Trumpy can ask until his diaper fills up, fruitcake.
The NATO compact does not require members to join wars of aggression.
Trump dropped Biden's Can into the Garbage Truck. He has a flat tire, the truck has ttippeed over, and the trash for decades has spilled everywhere.
No he has not. The bitch has BEGGED for help - with a war of choice, not an invasion.Zeets2 » 17 Mar 2026, 10:28 am » wrote: ↑ No they have not!
But hasn't President Trump and the US asked asshole? YES OR NO?
You're an idiot.Zeets2 » 17 Mar 2026, 10:37 am » wrote: ↑ Your opinion of the Iran action is irrelevant.
Iran has attacked US bases and we ARE a signatory of NATO's bi-laws.
And you're an ignorant moron!Cannonpointer » 17 Mar 2026, 1:58 pm » wrote: ↑ You're an idiot.
1. The countries where those bases are located are not NATO countries - except for Turkey, which has not requested assistance.
2. US bases are NOT soveriegn territory. They are rentals, you retarded ****.
3. Iran is RESPONDING to a war of chioce - not invading murka.
