I would like to know what region of the world your title would not describe. 

The pre-Columbian Americas were a blood bath that would make the middle east on its worst day look like a ruckus in a sunday school. 

What the momgols got up to on the steppes - our brains are not big enough to imagine it. 

The first emperor of what became modern day china - his name was xi, pronounced chi (the country is named for him) - killed every religious person, every philosopher - basically, the entire intelligensia - so that he could start everything new. Several thousand years later, a student of history named chairman mao borrowed the idea. Both men were radically successful. If you look at china today and realize how powerful it is, that is at the feet of the chairman. 

Europe not only fought internecine wars for century upon century, Christian killing Christian to assuage the egos of princes and lords with the lines of control remaining almost static over time, but it also started two wars that engulfed most of the world. The polynesians were cannibals, as were the indonesians and many tribes in the amazon. Africa has been filled with actual ****** for millenia. That story would write itself but for negro illiteracy. 

Idunno about australia. I would wager good money those mauris were some savage mother **** before they met even worse savages in the irish prisoners and their english guards.

Human nature is not unforgivable.
We can change. We can control the beast within. At least en masse...

Individuals will always have free will and slip past those changes and controls.
So, as always, the rules end up pointed at the outliers.
For instance, we all suffer the laws against murder.  
Why do we have them if most people won't don't that anyway? Them outliers be killin' folks.

If a society permits or even requires brutish behaviors, there will be no shortage of brutes.

I think it’s more of a wired thing…I don’t believe there’s hope for the outliers…they’re the ones the laws are for…

America has been around for only 250 years and has known only 17 years of peace. The Middle East have always hated each other...then they love each other...then they hate each other...then....Ancient Greece? Well, kings couldn't stop fight kings..etc...Asians hate each other...I hate Californians...

I have been since joining this site. "can be known"? That is choices made and secrets kept.
Greenwich Prime Meridian is half the separation of east and west of this atmosphere. the other half is international dateline. What are the longitudes of each one?

Equator is 0 degrees latitude between north and south regardless dawn, day, dusk, night every rotation of the planet 4 seasons change 8 times a year on 2 solstices and 2 equinoxes.

Evolving in a space time continuum is series parallel results simultaneously evolving forward one at a time now. My accuracy is including every reality this species creates reasonable doubt with throughout history since dawn of civilization until extinction arrives with the end of arriving great great grandchildren replacing their previous 6 generations lived so far.

But everyone saving humanity declares themselves so much smarter than I will ever become using my own brain.

"Civilization" is one thing, and "Peace & Prosperity" is another...

MOST human civilizations thru-out history have only seen "relative" peace, as a result of the conquest of rivals... POWER ALONE was the only variable alternative that had relevance, and THAT was usually thru the imperial rule of Kings, Emperors, Shahs, and the like... ALL who held individual power, and who were prone to ABUSE it... which often led to it's downfall !  There was NEVER another viable alternative... until RECENTLY... when Democracy came on the scene... and Democracy has been a NEW rival to "one man rule"... except that periodically those who were elected believe THEY can do better, and look to disenfranchise the voters, and dissolve the Democracy.  THAT is what Democrats are trying to so to America today !

We will see what happens... but ALL attempts of the RULING class, to consolidate and centralize POWER... UNLESS it's by the SPECIFIC CONSENT of the governed... I believe will turn INTO another King, Emperor, or Shah (etc) FIASCO... and THAT is why ABSOLUTE FREE, FAIR, and FOREVER DEMOCRATIC elections are an ABSOLUTELY necessary (in a Democracy) because they often IMPLODE after a period of time... and degenerate into some sort of "One Person Rule"... which ALWAYS ends badly !

COULD some form of Artificial Intelligence that is developing today (AI) be the answer?  Maybe, eventually... BUT, it would need to be SUPPORTED by Free & FAIR, FOREVER elections (i.e. or support of the people)... and ALSO have checks & balances !   BOTTOM LINE... SOME people will ALWAYS be POWER HUNGRY... AND, they are never as smart as they THINK they are... SO, whenever fewer and fewer people have the POWER... a Democracy gets closer and closer to IMPLODING !

I think America is dealing with ONE of those times NOW... AND NOT because of Donald Trump... because Donald Trump and Republicans have been the the odd men out for MOST of the last 45 years... before Donald Trump, the LAST true Conservative Republican was Ronald Reagan... ALL the other "Republicans"... with the exception of Donald Trump were RINO's... Democrat LITE (Republicans in NAME Only)... AND our Government has ALREADY been infiltrated & SUBVERTED as a result... Politicians running an ENTRENCHED Bureaucracy, which politicians want to CONTROL the elections, so THEY and not the "People" can REALLY dictates who runs things... and ANYONE who's NOT part of the "Club"... is DESTROYED !!

THANK GOD for Donald Trump... BUT, one term will NOT be enough to CLEANSE the CORRUPTION... Democrats will NEED to be kicked to the curb for an EXTENDED time... It's the ONLY way !!
