I didn't know this. Thanks for the info.Zeets2 » 02 Apr 2026, 12:21 pm » wrote: ↑ Iran supplied IEDs and EFPs in both Iraq and Afghanistan that killed many Americans and maimed hundreds more. Iran was responsible for the bombing of the Khobar Towers Air force base in Saudi Arabia, destroyed the US embassies in Kenya and Tanzania, they were complicit in the attacking of the USS Cole, car-bombed our embassy twice in Beirut killing more than 250 Americans, used drones that killed Americans in Syria and Jordan, and have plotted attacks against a US president. And let us not forget how they captured our US Embassy in Tehran and held 66 Americans hostage for a year and a half, which were all acts of war against the US.
Now, do you really think that Iran would have suddenly turned over a new leaf and stopped their war against the US and killed no more Americans if Trump hadn't stopped them?
Vegas, as compelling your point may be…..I’m going to go out on a limb and say—-this is different. We have a president who I believe thinks things through. The results, we will see.Vegas » 02 Apr 2026, 12:18 pm » wrote: ↑ Here is the sad reality.
America has an awful track record when it comes to regime change. Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan, and Venezuela. We conquered these regimes only for them to rebuild and come back again and again and again. We don't know how to replace governments. We just don't. We only know how to destroy them...temporarily.
What gives you that idea?jefftec » 02 Apr 2026, 1:11 pm » wrote: ↑ Vegas, as compelling your point may be…..I’m going to go out on a limb and say—-this is different. We have a president who I believe thinks things through. The results, we will see.
You sure don't sound very confident. If Trump thought things through, he would have planned for this shyt better. He is essentially throwing his hands up in the air and surrendering. Boots on the Ground in Iran is new terrain for our military. The IRGC has a million in service who have been planning for this for 47 years.jefftec » 02 Apr 2026, 1:11 pm » wrote: ↑ Vegas, as compelling your point may be…..I’m going to go out on a limb and say—-this is different. No Navy , most of the military in stagnation, obviously this didn’t occur by accident.
Then why oblige the head of the Joint Chiefs of Staff to resign?jefftec » 02 Apr 2026, 7:34 pm » wrote: ↑ Looking at the trajectory of this conflict, the majority of the Irani leadership dead or in hiding. No Navy , most of the military in stagnation, obviously this didn’t occur by accident.

*1Johnny, there you go venting again…..why try so hard?…. after all with your vast military experience and top advisors, surely you could render better results.JohnnyYou » 02 Apr 2026, 3:04 pm » wrote: ↑ (*1..You sure don't sound very confident. I believe Trump Dementia Syndrome is real.
They pulled a religious card on the military again and claim Trump is annointed by Jesus to be POTUS. Pam Bondi is gone. Christy Nome is sidelined, Tulsi Gabbard is under review. He sure hires the best people. He is so successful that 36 Republicans, many of them prominent with years of leadership service are calling it quits.
The results will take time. We may never see gas under 4$ a gallon again. The rad hats are off, the signs and flags are down. There is buyers remorse all over my town. This sign fell two months ago. It still lies on the deck on the side of the road today. Whoever put it up decided to let it decay in place.

one can assume your version of a "correct" answer is none.
I once got into it with CP and he made a statement about "an honest question" with which I tend to agree.
I asked what he meant by that comment regardless to see what he would say.
He said it was a leading question or one you already know the answer to but are trying to trap the other guy.
It is what BlaVe does every time he posts.
Your last choice in your poll is a perfect example that gives it away.
What if, hypothetically, someone doesn't care who helps us, but thinks the Iranians
will never stop trying until they get it? The nuke.
**** as the Israeli government is, would that taint "the mission" enough to oblige you to be against the action?
Consequently any person who believed in that hypothetical would be considered a naive boob and ignored.
Just thought I'd ask...
If that were the case, then why are Iranians dancing in the street to support Trump and the overthrow of the regime?JohnnyYou » 02 Apr 2026, 3:11 pm » wrote: ↑ Trump Dementia Syndrome is real. Confirmation bias of falsehoods is your only hope.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has issued warnings against protesters, stating that they are prepared to take severe action, including the potential use of lethal force. This comes amid heightened tensions and a crackdown on dissent in Iran.
Iran police chief warns protesters could be shot
MSN: National police chief Ahmad-Reza Radan declared on state TV that anyone acting in line with Iran’s enemies will be treated as an enemy, not a protester. He said, “All our forces are also ready, with their hands on the trigger,” signaling readiness to use lethal force. The warning comes amid the ongoing war with the US and Israel, after leaders in both countries urged Iranians to rise up against the regime.
