Rev. Alex Awad: A Palestinian evangelical, author, and former dean at Bethlehem Bible College, he advocates for peace and is a proponent of nonviolent initiatives like boycott, divestment, and sanctions (BDS).
Gary Burge: A New Testament scholar who taught at Wheaton College, he has written extensively on why "territorial theology" is not biblical and challenges evangelical support for Israeli policies.

These leaders often argue that Zionist theology is not a necessary biblical stance, but rather a political one that marginalizes indigenous Christians in the Holy Land.

/////////////Key Perspectives and Figures
Rev. Dr. Munther Isaac: As a Lutheran pastor in Bethlehem, Isaac advocates for a "Christ-centered" biblical theology that rejects the Zionist interpretation of the "Promised Land," focusing instead on human rights and opposing the occupation.
Bethlehem Bible College: This institution is a hub for anti-Zionist evangelical thought, hosting conferences that challenge traditional Western evangelical support for Israel.
"Christ at the Checkpoint": This conference aims to challenge evangelical theology that supports Israeli policies in the Palestinian Territories, pushing for a shift towards justice for Palestinians.
Arguments Against Christian Zionism: Critics like Isaac argue that Christian Zionism ignores the suffering of Palestinian Christians, idolizes the state of Israel, and promotes an theology that is, in some views, detrimental to Palestinian Christians.
Emerging Voices: A growing number of evangelical voices, including those involved in groups like "Hope Equals," seek to educate U.S. evangelicals on the realities of the occupation, sometimes leading to a shift in perspective

-----------------------------Christ at the Checkpoint: Isaac directs this conference, which urges evangelical Christians to reconsider their support for Israeli policies and focus on the plight of Palestinians.
Theological Critique: He challenges the "End Times" narrative that views the modern state of Israel as a fulfillment of prophecy, instead prioritizing the human rights of Palestinian Christians and Muslims.

Targeting Evangelical Support: Isaac and others engage in "eye-opening" education, aiming to shift perspective among American evangelicals, who are often strong supporters of Israel.
Focus on Occupation: He connects the theological argument with the daily realities of life in the occupied West Bank, highlighting issues like the separation wall and military checkpoints.

Jerra, for much of my life I have labeled religion as the root of all evil. Nothing is evil until something thinks it is.

I firmly believe in separation of church and state. It's what people came to this country for in the first place.. to flee religious persecution.

Satan is in the details of every corner of the Judeo Christian Islamic Triangle of Doom. Every single point in the structure hijacks their religion for political will.

That's why quantum is fascinating to me.. It does turn out spooky action is possible at a distance.  And Qubiits could put God in the Unemployment Line.

Learning about Hindu with the H1-B's has been interesting.  Facing the opression the Persians have dealt with for 5000+ years is evidentt in every Indian and Pakistani I engage with.   They don't like politics..  It's truly the root of all evil.

We got Hegseth asking soldiers to go to war with "What woould Jesus Do? Intelligence"  It's a set up for failure and the general gave Drunken Peter the middle finger and refused to send our war fighters into oblivion.  Salvation comes in strange ways...

You post this **** because it's the devil you know.

If you were in an Islamic country you'd believe the same about that...
but you'd be afraid of literally losing your head for saying it.

Get some perspective.
Please seat yourself.
