All we need are American Refinery's......the rest of the world can pound sand.Vegas » 04 Apr 2026, 10:36 am » wrote: ↑ Cannon gave a great thread about how our allies (or whatever we should call them) have bailed on us. This is a short and sweet vid summing up why America is alone in this. It baffles me how Trump and Natsinyou didn't think about how effective Iran would be in blocking the Strait of Hormuz. I guess they assumed we would get help from the world, so they said strike first, then we will figure it out later. Well...they haven't figured it out.
If America is going to win, then we need that port. Period. We don't need superior air power, or a superior navy. We need the **** port. Period.

Vegas » 04 Apr 2026, 10:54 am » wrote: ↑ It doesn't work like that. We already use our own refineries. Almost all of our gasoline and diesel is from our own refineries. The problem is that gasoline in the U.S. is priced off crude oil markets that are global, not purely local. The companies that sell the oil usually sell it at the global market price. Local companies don't just sell to America, they sell globally, so they set the price accordingly.
The global market won't matter if everything is home grown......why would American Companies ship oil if they didnt have to?Vegas » 04 Apr 2026, 11:09 am » wrote: ↑ That isn't the issue. We have enough refineries. We have enough of everything. It's the global market. Oil companies here sell their oil at global market prices.
Because some countries will pay for it since their refineries can't process it. They make a huge net profit off of that. Yes, it costs to ship it, but the countries that are buying it covers that cost.RebelGator » 04 Apr 2026, 11:13 am » wrote: ↑ The global market won't matter if everything is home grown......why would American Companies ship oil if they didnt have to?
Exactly. I didn't know how much fertilizer, that we use, went through that port. It's killing us.
