So let me see if I have your logic correct:
You make a claim, but don't prove it. Thus, your claim stands unless others can disprove it. 

So, if you claim that you are a brain surgeon, without providing a shred of evidence that you are, then you are a brain surgeon , because nobody can disprove it.
