I succesfully moved a few ratllesnakes away from being any danger.   After I killed a harmless huge black snake once. I fell so guilty afterward and the snake eats rats, which I think I got rid of out back recently.

There is a vaccine for rabies for dogs.

Why does @RebelGator  insist on making life complicated?

We only have one venomous snake here, and they're rare...we do have large banded snakes (4 ft+), which look like they could be coral, but are harmless and beneficial.
