According to Iranian state media, Iran had called for the U.S. to pay “war damages” to Tehran and recognize Iranian sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz. Both are likely non-starters for the United States, which has called for an end to Iran’s grip over the strait, a critical passage for oil and gas.

“It is our professional opinion that the behaviors of Donald Trump, tragically, are neither momentary lapses nor political theater,” they said in a statement. “It is our professional opinion that they reflect a rapidly worsening, reality-untethered, increasingly dangerous decline.”
They listed some of Trump’s observable serious medical issues, such as “Marked deterioration in cognitive functioning, evidenced by disorganized and tangential speech, rambling digressions, factual confusions, unexplained sudden changes of course in strategic matters, both national and international, episodes of apparent somnolence during critical public proceedings.”

My maritime guy on youtube said giving ccontrol of the Strait would be very very bad. Beyond a nuclear bomb, control of the shipping lane creates a hot spot in The House of Dynamite (I just watched it on Netflix yesterday.. I actually took two hours and watched one thing).. It was open international waters going into this, now it appears hmmm.. Pirates of Persian Gulf is moving up in the cue.
My Youtube guy "What's Going on With Shipping" Channel... Sal.. He has very little hair to begin with and this thing has him pulling his scalp off.
