So semantically, it's akin to they shot themselves in the foot I am guessing.  They opened that silo and nuked themselves.

Massie is coming back jack.. He is going to run independent and keep his seat.  Like Senator King in Maine. At best for you, he'll win..  At worst, he'll take votes from Ed Gallein and the democrat will get the seat.

Political dynamics are quite complicated Butt Cheeks.  You don't like complicated.  It requires critical thinking skills.

Consider the source. She wasn't smart enough to say Opening salvo, but educated enough to be completely dramatical about the whole situation.

It tells me her speech writers are at least as dumb as she is.
