Now here’s a perfect scenario…the FED puts all detainees in detention centers in TX…TX deports them…FED gives a per head stipend…no courts, plenty of whining…win win…

Texas just grabbed the wheel and is now deporting illegals without waiting for D.C.’s permission. Call it what you want, but that’s a Trump‑era border win playing out in real time. Thanks, ROG62.

That isn't 100% true, because Texas cannot force mexico to take the deportees. And Mexico has stated it will receive ZERO deportees from the state of Texas.

The work around is to threaten them with prison for breaking the Texas law unless they leave voluntarily, and then transport them to the crossing. 

Another work around is to find a carrot or a stick or a combination of carrot and stick to change mexico's mind about receiving them.

Another work around is to convict them, suspend their sentence, and turn them over to the feds for deportation.

But the ball is definitely moving in the opposite direction of the biden years, and the right people are ******-bleeding.

One of the work arounds I listed was turning them over to the feds for deportation. And yes, I agree that would work. I'm well aware that mexico has a deal with the feds. Just not with texas.

But I agree with the listed work around you selected in your first response, which was to slap a conviction on em, suspend their sentence conditional on going home and never coming back, and then releasing them at a border check point to walk across home.
