Scott Pelley Fired from CBS News’ 60 MinutesScott Pelley, the longtime 60 Minutes correspondent and former CBS Evening News anchor, was fired by CBS News on June 2, 2026, after a heated public clash with new leadership Yahoo+1. 
So, let's recap the Ignorance here...shall we.

I’ll be watching CBS if this keeps happening...TRUMP is the man.Because ironically, the more CBS tries to “fix” itself, the more it proves Trump is right about the media.

CBS finally stopped subsidizing a money‑losing vanity project and switched to a model that actually makes them cash. Good. That’s what a real business does.

Scott Pelley was where he was because david ellison WANTED Scott Pelly there.
Scott is the booger. Ellison is the nose.
If ellison has changed his mind, it's because he has a new strategy. But WHATEVER his current strategy, he's still the rat **** that treated you to scott pelley. And I'm confident that Scott Pelley had high minded fantasies of being a real journalist before david ellison got his hooks into him.

So what do you suppose WAS its agenda, if not the making of money? And on whose behalf was that agenda put in motion? And why have they suddenly changed course?
It seems to me that you are burying the lead. "They've decided to start making money" rather screeches the question, what the **** were they up to BEFORE this change of agenda, why, and on whose behalf?
