Ballots continue to be counted after Election Day during the canvass period; county elections officials must report final official results to the Secretary of State by July 3, 2026. The Secretary of State will certify the results on July 10, 2026.


They are not hiding where the count is at.

It looks like the general election for Gov is between Hilton(R) and Beccera(D).

I am not sure if there is a runoff before the general..  And I remember Fienstein ran against anotther democrat in the general election once.  CA has rank choice, open primary voting. The redictricting really shouldn't matter.

I did not vote in CA (I could have had two votes for Hillary), but some associates did and we saw the ballot in 2016.  It is an amazing document.  They vote on so much stuff.  Sex Worker rights were on the ballot that year.

Washington State is 100% mail  in voting and has no trouble evidently.
