We have already discussed the unique buy model of Market Basket.

You failed to link the quote so there is nothing to discuss.

You said you I had many stances on the subject.   3 or 4 will back up your assertion.

1.  I am not a victim.

2.  You REMEMBER, there is no context where YOU can make ME s victim.

3.  I would argue the tiny victim is the moron that has to use PG on many of his threads.  Afraid of contrasting views. ;)

Key inflation gauge hits highest level since September ahead of Fed meeting
By Associated Press
Published March 14, 2024, 1:51 p.m. ET

Wholesale prices in the United States accelerated again in February, the latest sign that inflation pressures in the economy remain elevated and might not cool in the coming months as fast as the Federal Reserve or the Biden administration would like. The Labor Department said Thursday that its producer price index — which tracks inflation before it reaches consumers — rose 0.6% from January to February, up from a 0.3% rise the previous month.

Measured year over year, producer prices rose by 1.6% in February, the most since last September.
The figures could present a challenge for the Fed, which meets next week and is counting on cooling inflation as it considers when to cut its benchmark interest rate, now at a 23-year high.

The Fed raised rates 11 times in 2022 and 2023 to fight high inflation.

Why does food cost so much? Experts say painfully high food prices, and ongoing inflation more generally, help explain why many Americans are down on the economy despite low unemployment, rising wages and steady economic growth. Inflation is expected to continue slowing this year, with the National Association for Business Economists on Monday forecasting that the Consumer Price Index (CPI) — a basket of common goods and services — will decline to an annual rate of 2.4% this year, compared with 4.1% in 2023 and 8% in 2022  IBID

And you problem is with what I posted?  I see nothing about lobster or steak, etc etc etc.  And tell me, Multi Stands, where is your bitching about the prices under Biden.

Right now some things are expensive right now.  But prices are coming down. Gas is high mostly due to Trump Iran excursion.

So, wen you start criticizing Biden asshole, you will have the moral clarity to get on the rest of us, Puss.

“Over the fourth, I’m going to get me a couple of big lobster tails, I’m going to get me some nice rib-eyes. I’m going to sit in my backyard with my family [and] my neighbors, and we’re going to be enjoying the fourth, celebrating 250 years, the birthday [of America],” the Texas Republican added

According to our calculations, the math has stopped adding up for this family over the past 18 months. They had a small cushion in 2024. Now they are in the red after covering just the basics, such as housing, an Affordable Care Act marketplace health care plan and day care. The family has over $1,000 less than it did a year and a half ago. Rising costs have more than wiped out any gains from higher wages and recent tax cuts.

This family would have trouble paying for anything beyond the basics — say, a car breaking down or a kid breaking an arm. It could not budget for any of the things that a typical family might hope for: buying a new car, taking a summer vacation or welcoming a third child.

Where is the text?
The provided text has a reading level consistent with College Graduate or Post-Graduate (Grade 16+). The analysis is dense and intellectually demanding, requiring a sophisticated vocabulary and the ability to navigate complex social and historical subtexts.
