There is a great deal of discussion about the transition.  KY passed a law Beshear couldn't appoint the replacement.. There is a timeline involved and Mitch has too keep breathing until Aug 3 or else a special election kicks in..

I heard some name Todd Lincoln I think being pushed around..

Kentucky is having an election in November..  Mitch has two years left I think...   Let's move on and get some fresh blood in the spot.. for better or worse...
 
There are a lot of reasons for shame in Mitch'ss career. I wish him a smooth transition to rainbow land. I saw what he did for Kentucky.  Now if they can only be grateful the rest of the country paid for it.

You guessed it..   The woman that left her husband in the hospital and ran to China to talk to the VP... And is not coming back to the USA.

Mitch's medical call  and transport from the door to the ambulance is out on tape.  He did not need an O2 mask and the urgency was not stressed.
