It was actually kind of tough to remove it and some still remains. Something about the oils in my skin reacting to the finish of the barrel maybe.
I grew up with guns,was actually a gun owner before I turned one because my great grandfather willed all of his outdoor equipment and literature,including guns to be given to me. He died 3 months after I was born. Living and growing up where I did in Northern Michigan all I did was wander the woods,camping,hunting and fishing.
