Why buy GDX when so many AI stocks are beaten down by 35-55%?

The only benefit I can imagine is metals can stay in a bull market a bit longer than stocks b4 everything crashes.

metals will be used as a hyper-inflation hedge

metalheads generally have a decent stock purchased years ago at prices that now would be considered ridiculously low

nothing like being ridiculous in todays uncertainty

If yields continue to rise (which they are currently) it's more likely central banks will be forced to raise rates, which would accelerate deflationary pressure esp if current debt is unpayable at higher rates.

That being said it is looking like metals are carving out a bottom so maybe 1 final round of inflation.

In the winter I go to the banks and buy boxes of pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters and half dollars

I got a couple of those digital microscopes to look for errors, dates and mint marks

I have found some very interesting coins and some silver.....

biggest find to date.....took a penny in several years ago worth enough to buy a new small car

crazy thing...it was a Lincoln penny error coin not an Indian head....put it away at the bank for the kids later in their lives.

kept a lot of pre 80's pennies...they are copper...some 60's are too but I just kept the pre 70's
