No, I saw people trying to regain the Trump cancelled JCPOA in the Biden admin.  Now Trump is the one begging for a deal.

Everyone knew what a war with Iran would bring.  Obama was trying to avoid it.

I would advocate Thorium Fueled Small Modular Molten Salt Reactors.  Thorium is plentiful, No enrichment required, nothing weapons grade is produced.
We pursued it in the 1950's and abanoned it for U235 LPR's because it breeds PU238 that we needed to assure Mutual Destruction.
 
I must have skipped class that day if  Thorium was discussed.  It is a cool fuel cycle.  Very safe.
