600 structures are gone.  Fortunately, evacuations were mandated and loss of life may be minimal.

Single digit humidity, 35 mph wnds, and baking sun set up the firestorm. 10,000 are without power as the grid is shut down for prevention.

When you pile flammable material against the sides of your house and it burns down, how can you be surprised?

That's why California pays for metal roofs and has policy to try and mitigate risk.  We went through brown outs out there on high fire risk days out there.
You do know PG+E's electrical failures have caused large fires out there? Lahaina got snuffed out by sparks in the wind from a transformer.

When you see the nuclear fireball I hope you ask yourself why you voted for stupid and what you expected. You should study a concept called risk mitigation..  Perhaps you could vote for leaadership that does.

Trump banned Roombas  and a bunch of chinese robotics..  

You should get a self driving truck that can deploy a few of these..  You could cut the grass from JD Vances couch..

95 getting pumped up with lanes north and south of Fayetteville.  Joe did pass a bipartisan bill.  It looked like it was going very slowly.  Money must have gotten clawed back for ICE goons.  Gosh I am glad they climbed back in their hole..

California‘s electric grid has needed upgrading for decades…their energy commission is to blame…

I believe PG&E has paid some pretty big settlements.

It is hard to bury cable in much of California.  Costly to get through the rock.

If you are going to complain about inadequate government.. I suggest you learn the difference between Iran and Vietnam.

I have family there, freaked out a bit Saturday morning when I saw the news.
They are safe.

I am greatful to hear that.

It was disturbing we had two tornados here with zero warning.  

It sounds like they got the word out there.  Fingers crossed it's not a Lahaina.

I have been in some wicked hot weather there.

It useed to be food collections and help started getting mobilized.  Now it doesn't even get on Google News. Notice who is stone cold quiet about it.
