In a decided shot at DSA-backed New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani, the Florida Chamber of Commerce has officially launched a Times Square campaign dubbing the socialist mayor as Florida’s Economic Developer of the Year through a massive billboard at the corner of Broadway and West 43rd Street in Manhattan."We wanted to thank him for the jobs, the companies, the people that they're pushing out of New York — and a lot of them are coming to Florida," Chamber CEO Mark Wilson first told Fox News.

Too funny!

And here's what these MORONS don't understand....

ALL of these people leaving NY State and heading to the RED STATES, only means they LOSE seats in the US House and the ELECTORAL COLLEGE!! Which is WHY they want to abolish it in the first place. AND the red states will GAIN HOUSE SEATS massively in 2030 as more and more move and the census and reapportionment kicks the blue states ASSES!

So, @Blackvegetable  , what's the "game plan" now with all these SEATS YOUR SIDE IS LOSING and AMERICAN PATRIOTS will WIN??

Recent migration trends confirm the damage. More than 125,000 New Yorkers have fled to Florida in just the past few years, carrying nearly $14 billion worth of income with them, according to the Citizens Budget Commission. About a third of those movers — more than 41,000 people — went to Miami-Dade, Palm Beach, and Broward Counties between 2018 and 2022. Those escapes alone stripped New York City of an estimated $10 billion in adjusted gross income. When money and mobility align, no amount of political rhetoric can stop people from voting with their feet.

Into this fragile situation steps Zohran Mamdani, whose mayoral primary victory has been accompanied by a platform that includes a new “millionaire’s tax.” His proposal would tack on an additional two-percent levy for New Yorkers earning more than $1 million a year, raising the combined city and state top rate to 16.776 percent — by far the highest in the nation. Add federal obligations, and the total burden would rise to nearly 54 percent. That is not just taxation; it is confiscation.

NEW YORK CITY (PIX11) – Across all income levels, more people moved out of New York City than moved in last year, according to a new study from the Citizens’ Budget Commission.

The study released Monday found that after two years of solid growth, the city’s overall population declined in 2025. It’s driven by a 70% drop in international migration and the loss of New Yorkers to other areas.

In 2025, New York City lost 114,000 more New Yorkers to other U.S. cities than it gained. It’s an uptick from 2024, but still much lower than pandemic-era highs.

Who is leaving NYC?
In 2024, New York City lost more low- and middle-income residents than it did high-income residents, the study found. Between 2023 and 2024, more New Yorkers with incomes in the bottom 40% left the city than residents with incomes in the top 40%.
