BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) — A man killed eight of his relatives, including four children, as they gathered for Sunday dinner at a home outside Billings, Montana, weeks after his parents asked him to move out, a family member told The Associated Press.

He must have been from Chicago

The murder rate in Montana is 2.73 per 100,000.

In Illinois it is 5.76.

Chicago specifically it is 16.4, the bluest of the blue.

We have our own small tale of red state madness here..

A 5 year old was killed in town. Extremely  rare.. The closest murder our home in 30 years....Turns out a female government official has been charged in connection with the murder. Everyone is red in government here.. The women's  last name is strongly associated  with local MAGA politics..

I have had this debate many times over the years.  The murder rates in those states are driven by long time dem run urban areas.
