Whatever label you deign to designate the current ruling class of America...the globalists, the GeWs, the billionaires and trillionaires, the oligarchs, the corporatocracy, international finance capital, the Illuminati, or whatever...

I believe we are rapidly approaching a crossroads that will lead to the "Minsky Moment" of No Return, which itself will be triggered or catalyzed by some kind of catastrophic event that finally begins the chain of collapse.

Examples of possible catalysts:

1) An earthquake or tsunami that kills tens of thousands of people on the West Coast of America ("people who matter" will die, not some hillbillies in Arkansas nobody cares about) with no quick restoration of vital services like electricity and clean, potable water

2) An 80% stock market CRASH in the 2030s (on top of the upcoming one) that reverses almost all gains made since the generational bottom in 2009 - this will also reset the Buffett Indicator to 50% and Shiller CAPE to < 15 (levels of undervaluation not seen in many decades)

3) The dollar losing 50% of its value over a relatively short period of time and plummeting Americans' standard of living by 30 - 40%

4) A civil war instigated by a manufactured political crisis (e.g. accusations of election fraud, rampant denial of results, etc.) that leads to more radical factions gaining power

But it is critical to understand that none of these events would be system ending if the foundations for collapse were not already in place, which they clearly are. 

This leads me to two probable conclusions:

Either the ruling clique...

1) are so proximate to their ultimate goals they can afford to lose the facade and are apathetic to their grip on America suffering an untimely demise

Or 

2) are among the most retarded and incompetent ruling coteries in human history.

While I am generally a cynical pessimist and will unquestioningly assign a high probability to #1, history shows that #2 is almost always the outcome and thus merits deeper examination.

Hubris has an almost mythical reputation of ruining even a mastermind's plan when they are 99 out of 100 steps complete...

Two millennia ago, Roman emperors and nobility took to heart a very simple rule: no matter how corrupt, conniving, and wealth craven you are, you NEVER even THINK to disturb the 2 vital components of social stability and order:

Bread and Circus

The reasoning was simple: no matter how much a certain slice, segment or stratum of society wishes for radical change and upheaval, spiritual and physical inertia keeps people "comfortable" enough to accept their status as delta, gamma, or omega males in the pecking order. 

For example, you will observe MAGATs consistently screaming and whinging about how they are "oppressed" by the federal government and the necessity of keeping private firearms to ward off this supposed tyranny. Never mind the fact that most of the tyranny comes from the Cancerous Tumor known as "Late Stage Capitalism" that leads to untenable rises in the cost of living, debt and wage slavery, oppressive taxes on the WORKING class (belied by close to zero taxes on capital owned those who have achieved $50M or more determined by some nominal appraisal of assets).

Does anyone in proper state of mind think MAGATs would use said firearms in any conceivable case to "oppose tyranny" - except in the most dire of circumstances (maybe some SWAT team were deployed to their primary residences...)?

I think not...and besides, we already have the Patriot Act, decades of warrantless surveillance and privacy incursions, government bureaucrats (both R & D) failing to represent their constituents and only representing wealthy parasites who send armies of lobbyists to D.C., etc...I have yet to see any MAGAT oppose this "tyranny."

Please notify me by DM with contrary evidence if you believe I have misjudged MAGATS as cowards and LARPers.
