I don't know if any of you have followed that case, but here is a short recap:

• Linsay Clancy admitted to killing her 3 little children by strangling them with workout bands. 
• Her defense pleaded insanity, due to her postpartum depression with psychosis. 
• 11 of the 12 jurors found her not guilty. 1 male juror held out. 
• Mistrail.

Here is the thing. This would seem like a pretty clear-cut case. She killed her children. Therefore, bye. Have fun on death row. The thing with this case is that Lindsay had a long history of being a great mother. Everyone that knew her reported that she was always loving and never abusive. The docs put her on tons of meds and they didn't seem all that component in court. They appeared to be nothing more than pill pushers. They really didn't even know much about her for the years they treated her. Just pills after pills after pills. 

So I don't know. How can we really say that these pills didn't mess up her system worse than it already was until one day she just snapped? We have no problem saying addicts are out of their minds when they are pumped up on meth and other drugs, because the fact is they are indeed out of their minds. These3 pills may be legal, but they are still drugs.

She should have pulled the Democrat Card, if making an insanity plea.....that's a slam dunk.

Supposedly, the holdout juror portrayed that in front of the other jurors.

Beyond a reasonable doubt, not everyone sees it the same way.

I see it one way....guilty by insanity should carry the same death sentence.
