Historically, the elites / oligarchs / billionaires and trillionaires will steal all the money and loot the public treasury before fleeing to another jurisdiction in their wonderful global economy plantation.

By then the idiotic / insouciant public (as Paul Craig Roberts might say) will be completely impoverished and demand SOSHALIZM to redress their grievances…but then it will be too late because the vast majority of the non-human “capital“ (investment funding) will have already left. So the non rich citizens and residents who remain are forced to work very hard for meager amounts of money to rebuild from scratch while useFOOL propagandists (like these MAGATs) say: 

Oh look! SOSHALIZm bad! These ppl are so poor under SOSHALIZM (when it was actually the looting prior to SOSHALIZM that caused their impoverishment).

The US federal government already spends, per capita, twice as much as Denmark on healthcare. The USA already has the largest single payer system, by a large margin, in the world. I doubt that if that were increased to triple, or more, the per capita spending of Denmark on healthcare that outcomes will improve.
