Iranian Cyber Assault on U.S. Elections: A New Front in the Battle for Democracy

“The Iranian regime’s actions were part of a broader effort to sow discord in the United States and undermine the integrity of our democratic institutions.” – U.S. Department of Justice Statement

On a crisp Monday, the FBI, the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence joined forces to unveil a stark truth: Iran had, indeed, set its sights on the campaigns of both political titans vying for the White House. This was no mere digital prank. It was a calculated move, a cyber incursion designed to infiltrate the very fabric of American politics, to twist the narrative and perhaps, in some darkened room halfway across the world, shift the balance of power.

The Intel agencies are the one's doing the hacking and blaming it on Iran.......

Or has everybody forgotten what Snowden blew the whistle on.....?

So... tell me, Trumpers...

1.  have any of you overdosed on Fentanyl that you bought from a sketchy-looking illegal immigrant?
2.  have any of you had gangs of illegal immigrants roaming the streets of your neighborhood?
3.  have any of you been raped by an illegal immigrant?
4.  have any of you had anyone in your family murdered by an illegal immigrant?
5.  have any of you gone hungry because you couldn't afford groceries?
6.  have any of you had to leave the car in the garage and walk to your destination because you couldn't afford gasoline?
7.  have any of you been assaulted in the ladies' room by a transsexual in a skirt?
8.  have any of you actually experienced this dreadful dystopia Trump describes firsthand?

Do tell.
So, your attitude is simply, "I got mine, and everybody else in the country can just go **** themselves", huh?
That's the difference between you and I.  Even if I'm in the enviable position to be safe, secure, and wealthy in my home, I can recognize and have a great deal of sympathy for the tens of millions who aren't as fortunate as I am.
Clearly, you couldn't give a flying **** about them as long as you got yours!

Do you deny that hundreds of thousands of American citizens have died from fentanyl brought in across our open border by illegals?
Do you deny that there have been dozens of rapes and murders committed by illegals that came in through Czar Kamala's open border?
Do you believe it's a lie that tens of millions of Americans are having trouble paying for the huge hike in gas and food prices?
Do you figure every other neighborhood in the country is as safe as yours?
Are you unaware of the number of children who have been raped in schools and public restrooms allowing men to use girl's restrooms?
Why must we experience this dystopia before we can recognize it happening in our home country and be permitted to comment on the failure of the government YOU stuck us with that caused it and eagerly hope to do so yet again or should we make every effort to stop it and reverse the path to hell your idiots have put us on??

A good long ways, fascist. I relocated when the vax fascism that you are a part of began, setting up housekeeping far from any major urban center. It takes me two hours to drive to Costco or Sams. I raise chickens. I have a whole house generator and a thousand gallon propane tank. I changed my life in response to the fascist dystopia that America has become under the deep state rule you embrace and defend.

I am DEEP into Trump country, pedo.

Hundreds of miles away, fruitcake. I feel very bad for those who were not positioned to do as I have done.
maineman » 24 Aug 2024, 1:39 pm » wrote: How many transsexual ladies' room rapes have happened within a two-hundred-mile radius of your house in the past three years? Image
None, fruitcake - nor is transsexual bathroom rape "the" issue. A man - your masters' lies notwithstanding - took gold from a lady boxer in the Olympics that I did not watch. That was a rape of sorts. Men have stolen women's records in weightlifting and other sports - rapes of a sort. Men have stolen women's sports scholarships - rapes, as well. And you vote for and defend all of these things.

How many women in YOUR town, or any city in your state, have been denied an abortion, fruitcake? How many women within 200 miles of your address have had to take a bus out of their state to kill their unborn? How many crimes has Trump committed within a four hour drive of the masturbatorium where you lay your head at night?

They will find themselves forever on one or the other margin. And they will never be happy, so long as they have that mindset. That is my opinion in the matter.

I worked for a fellow some 30 years back, and he was one hard working son of a bitch. He was not nearly as smart as I am. But he more than compensated by how diligent he was, whereas I was more of a flighty fellow - insouciant. Dabble here, raise rabble there - to one thing constant never.

Anyway, she shared his goal with me. He wanted to have a million dollars worth of equity in commercial property, and then he would retire and live the good life. I decided to make it my mission to help him realize his dream, as he had always been square with me, and I loved him as a brother. And I did. And all the things that he had told me he wanted to do - WOULD do - once he had reached his goal? He put them all on hold, because he set a new goal. A million was not enough. I asked him what WOULD be enough, and his face was pained when he told me, "I don't know."

Several years back, I sat with him. We met up in Mexico, down in Baja. And I went over with him what he had told me, and I asked him what was his new goal. And he sat there - we were drinking and playing with magic powders, but only as tourists and not as degenerates or anything - and he got it. He literally got it. And he made a radical change. He chose to be content. He was not at a level to excite envy or invite robbery. He was just living a nice, upper middle class existence, taking in perhaps 200k per year. And he just stopped being acquisitive.

Whereas he had been doing all of his own work on his properties, jealous of any penny he might have to pay a tradesman, he made the decision to never step on another ladder and never tar another roof and never lift another paint brush or frame-out another interior to suit a new tenant. He chose to pay others for that work. He chose to be content.

When I was down in Brazil in early Summer, I invited him to come on down and spend a few weeks with me. He came for ten days, and we relaxed and drank a few beers and saw some sights. I have never seen him so light on his feet, so **** carefree. I was delighted for him. I AM delighted for him. I still smile each time I think of him - each time I picture him at last at home with himself and happy with his lot.

The same advice that I gave to him, I would give to you. The middle ground is the easiest to hold, and is marked by the least care. Poverty and immense wealth are flip sides of the same coin. One has plusher pillows than the other, but both are hard roads,

I cannot pretend to understand "their" endgame - exactly what THEY SEE as their "victory conditions." I cannot see how destroying the United States gives "them" anything of value. But I CAN see and DO see that they are deliberately destroying the country. A nation without a border is a creature without skin. Neither functions for long.

My theory may have some validity yet. I am with you in that I can see no apparent value in destroying a country in this manner. It can't be simple grudge or jealousy. Such a disparate "team" getting together for a principle-of-the-thing is quite a stretch.
They're all greedy, selfish ****, after all.

That was actually a few years ago.
Peer reviews were dubious then and, as you say, have become basically useless now.

Morons can be impressed by some "Who will fact check the fact-checkers?" article written recently.
That's the trailer trash level of this issue.

Peer reviewing process went to **** under the radar long ago.
I have seen it close up myself just like you.
In 2020 the Lancet - the gold standard of Peer Review - published an editorial insisting that anyone who even suggested covid leaked from a lab was an anti-science conspiracy theorist. https://www.thelancet.com/journals/lanc ... 9/fulltext

In 2022, the Lancet could no longer deny the conflict of interest in the position it took, as one of the writers had been working at the wuhan institute at the time of the lab leak. The Lancet apologized and published an editorial at metaphorical gunpoint stating that certainly the lab leak theory was an avenue that rightly merited scrutiny - the Lancet's previous intellectual thuggery notwithstanding. https://www.timeshighereducation.com/ne ... eak-letter

The Lancet remains the most credible and esteemed journal in the western world. It simply no longer has the same respect - from anyone. It no longer has the same cachet, the same shiny inviolability, the same "last and final word" stature. Quoting a paper published in the Lancet is no longer and nevermore akin to playing a trump card. The Lancet was the last line of defense for pure science - and while it still deals in real science, it is now known to traffic as well in pseudo-science and political claptrap and propaganda. The name it once had was as easy to throw away as it will be impossible to reestablish.

No need to prove that an election system is faulty. It's not "innocent until proven guilty". On the contrary, systems are faulty until proven reliable. Just show the data that proves where all those last Minuit 2020 mail-in ballets came from.

They tried to stack the deck for Clinton but they clearly underestimated Trump. Clinton along with all of the media were convinced she had it in the bag. They didn't make that mistake in 2020.

All of a sudden they're finding all these hundreds or thousands of improperly registered voters. Just make then show an ID. Must prove citizenship when registering and show an ID when voting.

Only a very small percentage of voters should be voting by mail...military, people who are clearly too sick to get to the poles and a few people who's job or some other emergency forces them to be out of town on election day. Everybody else needs to show up at the poles and show their face and they're ID.

It's only common sense and until then I call **** on the whole thing!

Every midwit leftist is 'educated' on Carl popper's "paradox of intolerance", and I often hear them repeat this idea whenever they want to be clever.

Basically it goes like this: you cannot tolerate intolerance because that results intolerance.

It is painfully easy to refute this idea. In fact it is so easy that it makes me wonder why popper is a respected philosopher at all (perhaps because of this ethnic group?)

Quite simply, disembodied intolerance doesn't exist. Take Hitler, for example. He clearly did not like the jews, but that doesn't mean he lacked tolerance for everything. He seemed to have a remarkable degree of tolerance for germans, for example. In fact, the reason he was mad at jews is because he believed they were bad for the germans.

You can question whether he was correct aboutthat judgement, but that is all it is. A claim that is either true or false. It is not disembodied intolerance and it is not universally applied.

Indeed, Carl popper's argument would condemn literally any human who has a friend enemy distinction. Which is literally every human. Condemning all humanity is not very tolerant.

gosh. That was easy.

Noncitizens Will Vote In November, The Only Question Is How Many?

I & I Editorial Board

October 15, 2024Eight years ago, the mainstream media told us in no uncertain terms that noncitizens don’t vote in American elections. “There is no evidence,” they said. The likely number “is zero.”

They were provably wrong then – there’d been multiple accounts of noncitizens who’d registered and voted in elections. In the years since, the evidence of this problem has piled up higher. But the media are still at it. It’s “extremely rare,” they say. It never “affects the outcome of a race.”

Republicans are looking to “blame illegals” if Donald Trump loses, etc.

Here’s one example of the disconnect. An audit of Texas voter rolls in 2019 found 95,000 noncitizens who’d registered, 58,000 of whom voted in an election. This year, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott announced that he’d removed 6,500 noncitizens from the state’s voter rolls, nearly 2,000 of whom voted.

Yet just this weekend, ABC News ran a piece titled: “In South Texas, the myth of noncitizen voting takes center stage.”

But it’s the media that’s peddling the myth. Voter rolls are criminally outdated and error prone. Some states are so eager to register voters that they don’t put up needed safeguards. When election officials do bother to audit their registration rolls, they keep turning up thousands of noncitizens.Consider these recent examples:
  • Virginia’s attorney general recently announced the state moved 6,303 noncitizens from its voter rolls in 2022 and 2023.
  • Arizona admitted a massive error in its voter rolls resulted in 218,000 registered voters who lacked proof of U.S. citizenship.
  • A suit filed in Nevada asserts that as many as 11,000 noncitizens are registered to vote in the state and nearly 4,000 of them voted in 2020.
  • An Oregon audit found nearly 1,300 noncitizens registered to vote in that state.
  • Ohio’s secretary of state found nearly 600 noncitizens registered to vote.

I love the Jewish people! As Christians they are our brothers and sisters, our greatest ally.
Here are some excerpts from the Talmud that highlight this great alliance.

“Jesus was a bastard born of adultery” (Yebamoth 49b).

“Jesus was a magician and a fool. Mary was an adulteress” (Shabbath 104b).

“Jesus was guilty of sorcery and apostasy” (Sanhedrin 43a).

“Mary was a whore: Jesus (Balaam) was an evil man” (Sanhedrin 106a & b).

Jesus was sent to Hell, where he is punished by boiling excrement for mocking Rabbis” (Gittin 56b, 57a).
And yet
  1. Jesus, Mary, and the angel Gabriel are all prominent characters in the Qur’an (as are Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, and a bunch of other Bible characters).
  2. Muslims believe that Jesus (called “Isa” in Arabic) was a prophet of God and was born to a virgin (Mary). They also believe he will return to Earth before the Day of Judgment to restore justice and defeat al-Masih ad-Dajjal, or “the false messiah” — also known as the Antichrist. All of this may sound pretty familiar to many Christians. (The fact that Muslims know that “al-Masih ad-Dajjal” is the Arabic name for the Antichrist created some...uh...unexpected problems for Netflix recently — warning: spoilers.)
  3. Mary (called “Maryam” in Arabic) has an entire chapter in the Qur’an named for her — the only chapter in the Qur’an named for a female figure. In fact, Mary is the only woman to be mentioned by name in the entire Qur’an. As noted in the Study Quran, “other female figures are identified only by their relation to others, such as the wife of Adam and the mother of Moses, or by their title, such as the Queen of Sheba.” Mary is mentioned more times in the Qur’an than in the entire New Testament of the Bible.
  4. Just as they do with all the other prophets, including Mohammed, devout Muslims recite “peace be upon him” after every time they refer to Jesus by name.
  5. Muslims believe that Jesus performed miracles: The Qur’an discusses several of Jesus’s miracles, including giving sight to the blind, healing lepers, raising the dead, and breathing life into clay birds.

The Cost of Illegal Immigration

https://cis.org/Oped/Cost-Illegal-Immigration

 FACING REALITY

By design, and understandably, our progressive system of spending and taxation means that low-wage workers collectively serve as a net drain on our nation's treasury. Cities and towns across America have worried for decades about losing their middle-class tax base. If a city cannot fund its government with a lower-income population, how can a country? The negative impact on public coffers of less-educated people, regardless of their immigration status, is not a character flaw: It is simply a reality in any modern post-industrial society with a large welfare state. Our permissive immigration policies certainly make it easier for criminals and terrorists to enter, but the vast majority of illegal immigrants are neither. Indeed, unskilled immigrants today are not all that different from those who came during the last great wave of immigration from 1880 to 1920.But America was a fundamentally different country then. The government represented just 3% of GDP in 1900, compared to 36% today. There was no welfare state. The arrival of low-income people, therefore, did not have the profound negative fiscal impact it has today. We should have an immigration policy that reflects current economic and fiscal realities, and enforce it. If we don't, we must accept the unavoidable drain on the public fisc that will result.

I am not voting November 2024, but nevertheless here is what I imagine could play out.

I believe “they” want tRumP in the WH to take the blame for the impending stock market crash beginning in late 2025 (-70% from top to bottom is likely) as well as economic meltdown.

This is why the DNC ran Kamala Harris, even though they could have run someone like Michelle Obama (who would easily win).

Since tRumP has never shied away from YuGe spending, this is what I perceive his agenda would look like:

1. Begins legalizing marijuana (so MSOS calls can return 2000-4000%)

I will be scanning options flow every week after tRumP wins the election, and if there is one thing this Orange Conman can do that will make me sing his blessings, it’s precisely that. This will open the floodgates to 300-500% returns on shares and much higher on options.

2. In the beginning of 2025, likely in Feb-March, there will be a mini crash.

Lots of “bad news” and stats like rising unemployment, accelerating inflation numbers. etc. that were massaged / manipulated / hidden during the Biden administration will “mysteriously” resurface (“It’s all Trump’s fault” etc.)

And while this is happening…

3. tRumP will demand, publicly and on TEEVEE, that the Fed cut rates down from 4.5% or wherever they are now to 2.0% or lower and unleash a YUGE stimulus program. (Lots of domestic spending)

The Fed will have no choice but to oblige since Trump (likely) has foreseen this outcome and they don’t want to take the blame for causing a recession prematurely.

Now, keeping this in mind, this will cause inflation to re-accelerate, but tRumP doesn’t care as he would rather have high inflation than a meltdown.

(I will buy oil stock calls near the bottom as well - I don’t believe they have bottomed quite yet as usually there is “capitulation” selling before furious buying)

—————-

None of this will prevent the inevitable crash (Herbert Hoover Part 2?) but it will offer an asymmetric opportunity for 500% or more returns (for those with the risk appetite).

Just make sure you cash out before the crash.
