I guess you can apologize for asserting "victory".

So you don't support a ban of these weapons.  Who knew.  I will chalk you up as one who will defend the right of responsible citizens to own semi automatic sports rifles that look military but do not function the same.

Ok, my point stands.

Back to functionality.  Show that they function the same as weapon specifically designed for battle field use.  Show me where the selector position for auto or burst is first off.  Then where the lower is the same, the sear, etc.  And the cyclic rate of fire.

But, you should be happy to learn that today's weapons designed for battlefield, in the context of the discussion,  ARE banned from sale to the public.  Anything manufactured AFTER 86 is banned.

So not sure what you want banned.

I can only assume since you want a weapon that is designed specifically for civilian banned is because it looks scary.  You refuse to post any reason based on function they should be banned.  The weapons you buy in the store are not designed for military use.  Those are already banned.  So present an argument. 

And support it.

Nope, my sources do not consistently state that.  What they state is the semi auto sport rifles is specifically designed, manufactured and sold to civilians.

Look I assume you want the ar15 banned. But I kinda assume that the only reason you want that is because political pundits have told you that you should want it. I doubt they explained why and I doubt you can't articulate why.

What specifically about the ar15 makes you think it should be banned?

Are you okay with police using the ar15? Military? Who should it be restricted to, then? Why?
