Although I have posted this for you in the past I will do it again simply for the entertainment value of watching you fail:

Most current fully automatic trigger groups will not fit their semi-automatic firearm look-alike counterparts – the semi-automatic version is specifically constructed to reject the fully automatic trigger group by adding metal in critical places. This addition is required by ATF to prevent easy conversion of Title I firearms into machine guns.For civilian possession, all machine guns must have been manufactured and registered with ATF prior to May 19, 1986 to be transferable between citizens.[19] These machine gun prices have drastically escalated in value, especially items like registered sears and conversion-kits. Only a Class-II manufacturer (a FFL holder licensed to manufacture firearms or Type-07 license that has paid a Special Occupational Tax Stamp or SOT) could manufacture machine guns after that date, and they can only be sold to government, law-enforcement, and military entities. Transfer can only be done to other SOT FFL-holders, and such FFL-holders must have a "demonstration letter" from a respective government agency to receive such machine guns.[20] Falsification and/or misuse of the "demo-letter" process can and has resulted in long jail sentences and felony convictions for violators.

You asked me to show a citation that shows that the weapons you whine about that are designed for the battlefield were banned if made after 86 or heavily restricted if before.  I did.  The point is they are already banned or heavily restricted.

What does it matter?  It was designed for combat.  You said weapons designed for military use or combat should be banned.  There was no stipulation won that comment.  A henry in the hands of one who knows how to use it can put 10 rounds down range just as fast as one using a semi auto with a 10 round magazine.

You can not give one reason pertaining to functionality of the weapons in question as to why they should be banned.  And looking at gun sales this year any measure like that will fail.

 The following is a redesign:

In order to prevent a civilian semi-automatic AR-15 from being readily converted for use with the select fire components, Colt changed a number of features. Parts changed include the lower receiver, bolt carrier, hammer, trigger, disconnector, and safety/mode selector. The semi-automatic bolt carrier has a longer lightening slot to prevent the bolt's engagement with an automatic sear. Due to a decrease in mass the buffer spring is heavier. On the select fire version, the hammer has an extra spur which interacts with the additional auto-sear that holds it back until the bolt carrier group is fully in battery, when automatic fire is selected.[20] Using a portion of the select fire parts in a semi-automatic rifle will not enable a select fire option.[21] As designed by Colt the pins supporting the semi-auto trigger and hammer in the lower receiver are larger than those used in the military rifle to prevent interchangeability between semi-automatic and select fire components.[22]
