In our nation of 330 million do you think I could "CHERRY PICK" a story like this daily about ADVERSE VACCINATION REACTION / DEATH from our vast data base of information..?
I spent yesterday at a large hospital with a friend.
There were 75 ER Rooms.
I asked about CV19 cases and ALL the nurses and aides said they were not permitted to talk about that.....![]()
If I asked the same question 10, 20, 30 or more years ago about a virulent outbreak do you think I would get the same "1984 BIG BROTHER" response from the workers..?..![]()
I didn't see any obvious CV19 cases waiting to be seen.
No DOUBLE MASKED EMPLOYEES.....![]()
At the admissions desk they didn't bother with CV19 screening, either....
HPPA passed in 1990.There were 75 ER Rooms.

Did they make you take a fresh mask and disinfect your hands? At the admissions desk they didn't bother with CV19 screening, either....

It's better to be safe about it. This guy would be alive if he was vaccinated. Period. A mask is not a straight jacket. It's a simple thing to wear, and the data shows that it does work. Yes, most of those who are in danger are the elderly. But I would like to think that we should be compassionate enough to protect them by having all of us not get infected. If a young guy is infected, he could infect an elderly person. Sure, the young guy will be fine, but the elderly person that he/she has infected has a greater probability of becoming deathly ill. Why not get vaccinated to protect the elderly?GHETTOBLASTER » 23 Jul 2021, 12:35 pm » wrote: ↑ Do you know what a healthy 30 year old's chances are from dying OF CV19 [and nothing else]...?

I think people should be vaccinated for their own safety, and not for how being unvaccinated would affect anyone else. We need to acknowledge the fact that the vaccine has not yet had the proper length of time to determine the possible long-term effects of it, as well as others who choose to refuse it because they've already got antibodies from having Covid themselves as millions of people have. Americans should be able to choose that safety level for themselves and their families and not be forced to do so by government officials, especially those like our brainless VP who told the world she would refuse to take it because Trump was instrumental in developing it. Should I feel bad for the guy when his choice not to vaccinate cost him his life? Not really, since he knew the risks when he made his decision not to take it. Likewise, I don't really feel that bad for someone dying from drug abuse, being shot by a cop when breaking the law, or even dying from alcoholism or cigarette smoking. I respect the fact that they made their choice freely, and part of that is accepting the negative consequences of their actions.Vegas » 23 Jul 2021, 1:16 pm » wrote: ↑ It's better to be safe about it. And even though I've been vaccinated, I don't need a government nanny to tell me what's good for me.
I'd prefer to blame the grandparent, who would most likely be in the class of the elderly who are most susceptible to it, especially since there have been a number of serious side effects of the vaccine in children. I honestly can't blame the kid, particularly because the parents (depending on their kid's age) likely have either become aware of those side effects in children, or they may have been frightened by the stupidity of our whore VP, who unequivocally stated on national TV that she wouldn't trust it and wouldn't take it because Trump helped develop it. If it were a black family who chooses to believe the words of the first black VP who they probably voted for, it's tough to blame them for their skepticism.Vegas » 23 Jul 2021, 2:02 pm » wrote: ↑ I don't favor the government forcing anyone either. I do favor people making responsible choices. What should we make of a grandson who refused to get vaccinated , ends up with Covid, and lives with his elderly grandparent? The grandparent gets infected because of it and ends up deathly ill. The grandson knew the risk about the harm he could do his grandparent. I say **** that kid.
Long term side effects are unknown so there is no safe or sorry dichotomy. Covid19 has a 99.95% survival rate for those under 70. Higher if you have no significant comorbidities. It's a choice between taking an experimental drug with unknown long term side effects or risking a 0.05% chance you will die if you get Covid19. That is the truth of the situation. Your take on this situation is becoming as honest as our resident progressives. Unfortunate.Vegas » 23 Jul 2021, 1:16 pm » wrote: ↑ It's better to be safe about it.
