Democrats are trying to do what they can on behalf of the American people. Including those who hate us. What the fk are Trump's Republicans trying to do?  Oh I remember. They're paying all his legal expenses.
We have now had 6 years of progressives denying Trump was legitimate. 8 years of liberals saying Gore won and Bush was installed by the Supreme Court. Think it's disingenuous at this point to demand Biden be respected as legitimate. I accept the results of the election but find the circumstances worthy of investigation so it doesn't happen again.

They were dumb *** Trump supporters up until the time they decided to storm the Capitol.

Webster defines insurrection as "a usually violent attempt to take control of a government."

Lest we forget, they beat Capitol police, smashed through windows, brought zip ties and incendiary devices, and shouted "hang Mike Pence."  Elected officials and officeholders were cowering in fear of their lives. People were injured and people died.

And while some may want to trivialize what had occurred that day, why it happened, and who was involved (before and behind the scenes), I PERSONALLY happen to think calling them just some dumb *** Trump supporters almost amounts to calling them "tourists."

Insurrection implies they had the capability and intent to overthrow the government. These inbreds had neither.

Erecting gallows outside a nation's seat of government, storming the edifice, then combing its hallways seeking to "hank Mike Pence" sounds like intent enough to me, bud, regardless of how "capable" they were.

Suspicions about improprieties in the electoral process in 2020, which led up to the Jan. 6 incident, were and are quite justified given the closeness of the election coupled with the track record of dishonest behavior in the dim-0-crap party.

Just as the impeachment attempts of Trump were a **** dim-0-crap dog and pony show full of LIES, so is the witch hunt sham of the unConstitutional Jan 6 dog and pony show for political purposes!!!

I find myself far more concerned with our fully "open" borders and the illegal invasion being allowed, the ongoing supply chain failures, record inflation and the manner in which government $pend$ TRILLIONS$ of dollars than I am with "Jan 6"  the dim-0-craps are using as a purely political partisan, kangaroo court distraction.

What the dim-0-craps are really afraid of  is losing power and are willing to do anything, even illegal, to maintain that power by criminalizing any opposition or dissent  to them.

MSNBC, like clockwork....first story, rising cases of OMNICRON and reminders to hide under your bed. Second story, the anniversary of Jan 6... bigger than Juneteenth and Kwanza combined! They've got five guests lined up to clutch their pearls.

NOT that it'd matter worth a flying to Trump's MAGAs ANYWAY.  Considering 66 percent of them (yes, that's two out of every three) don't consider the riot an insurrection at all, and 77 percent of them don't think Trump had anything to DO with it... as per the right wing Bizarro world alternate reality.

66% of Republicans don't consider the January 6 Capitol riot to be an attack on the government, according to a new poll

"A full two thirds of Republican don't consider the January 6 assault on the US Capitol - which resulted in several deaths and disrupted the counting of electoral votes for several hours - to have been an attack on the US government. That same poll also found that 77% of Republicans don't hold Trump responsible for it anyway."
