Lesser charges are easier to get to stick.Zeets2 » 25 Oct 2021, 7:16 am » wrote: ↑ Since you're SO convinced there was an insurrection, why is it that NOT A SINGLE ONE OF THE PROTESTERS was charged with that crime?
And the reality is that you idiot Democrats KNEW bringing such a charge would have returned a Not Guilty verdict on everyone charged, which would have made your ability to continue to use that lie that much more difficult in next year's election campaign.
That's fine! Then refer to the riot with the actual crime they're being charged with. And since NOT A SINGLE PROTESTER HAS BEEN CHARGED WITH INSURRECTION, it's ludicrous to attempt to call it that!Squatchman » 07 Jan 2022, 1:26 am » wrote: ↑ Lesser charges are easier to get to stick.
As long as they go to prison who cares what the actual charges were?
It's called "WINNING"! in my book

NOT that it'd matter worth a flying to Trump's MAGAs ANYWAY. Considering 66 percent of them (yes, that's two out of every three) don't consider the riot an insurrection at all, and 77 percent of them don't think Trump had anything to DO with it... as per the right wing Bizarro world alternate reality.
66% of Republicans don't consider the January 6 Capitol riot to be an attack on the government, according to a new poll
"A full two thirds of Republican don't consider the January 6 assault on the US Capitol - which resulted in several deaths and disrupted the counting of electoral votes for several hours - to have been an attack on the US government. That same poll also found that 77% of Republicans don't hold Trump responsible for it anyway."

Here's one from someone who is easily among both the dumbest and ugliest people in Congress:Biden said we need to 'keep punching at' domestic violence, and the internet was not amusedInsider by Michelle Mark Nov 20, 2019
- In response to a question about addressing sexual violence, Biden said people needed to "keep punching at it and punching at it and punching at it."

It's hard to underestimate the outrage any WW2 vet might have at such a ridiculous comparison. Or New Yorkers with the 9/11 comparison. Biden's speech writers f**ked him with that one.GHETTOBLASTER » 07 Jan 2022, 9:16 am » wrote: ↑ Comparing Jan 6 to Pearl Harbor is the height of ridiculousness.
As an American I am embarrassed FOR TEAM BIDEN's cartoonish attempt to turn Jan 6 into a day that will forever live in infamy......
This is what happened the morning of the Pearl Harbor attack...
"The official death toll was 2,403, according to the Pearl Harbor Visitors Bureau, including 2,008 Navy personnel, 109 Marines, 218 Army service members and 68 civilians. Of the dead, 1,177 were from the USS Arizona, the wreckage of which now serves as the main memorial to the incident. Fifty-five Japanese also were killed."
So you win the point. I concede.Zeets2 » 07 Jan 2022, 9:15 am » wrote: ↑ How quickly ignorant libs like you forget!
Explain how the idiot you voted for can say this then:

Because (imo) Biden's doj and Garland are too **** to prosecute them as such, despite his recent pledges to hold everyone responsible ACCOUNTABLE.Misty » 05 Jan 2022, 10:41 pm » wrote: ↑
If that definition doesn't fit I don't know what does.
The reason no one was charged with that crime is that Justice officials say that the FBI and prosecutors are better off building conspiracy cases, where the law is clearer, and using cooperators to build the complex prosecutions in order to have better chances of success.
There aren't many prosecutors who have even brought sedition-related cases.
