Give Trump a change of venue.
Actually, I gave you a perfectly acceptable generic definition of the word, "insurrection" (and, we should note, that I also know how to spell "DEFINITION" correctly, unlike you, who purports to have some degree of education beyond grade school).righteous » 04 Aug 2023, 1:08 pm » wrote: ↑ Incorrect, illiterate janitor, who pretends he knows constitutional law.

The most important trial in our history should also be the fairest.
The only issue for the jury is can one man, decide for himself that his election was stolen, and then try to steal an election by convincing the Vice President to give it to him?
It was the attempt, that’s the great crime.
I see more that eighteen thousand sympathetic GOP jurors in the juror pool.

Because any conspiracy to commit a crime is much worse than just the crime.maineman » 04 Aug 2023, 1:27 pm » wrote: ↑ Interestingly enough, the crime that Rhodes and others were found GUILTY of was contained in a different section. 18 USC § 2384, Seditious Conspiracy.
"If two or more persons in any State or Territory, or in any place subject to the jurisdiction of the United States, conspire to overthrow, put down, or to destroy by force the Government of the United States, or to levy war against them, or to oppose by force the authority thereof, or by force to prevent, hinder, or delay the execution of any law of the United States, or by force to seize, take, or possess any property of the United States contrary to the authority thereof, they shall each be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than twenty years*, or both."
*Interesting to note that the jail time is TWICE as long as for insurrection.

If you had asked me for the LEGAL definition of Insurrection, I would have pointed you to 18 USC § 2383 ... alas, you didn't.
That section states:
"Whoever incites, sets on foot, assists, or engages in any rebellion or insurrection against the authority of the United States or the laws thereof, or gives aid or comfort thereto, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States."

You’re an unlettered Fruit-loop, mop boy.
A fine example of an insurrection were the riots of 2020, whereby both State and Federal and private properties were destroyed to the tune of 2 billion dollars, lives were lost, economies ruined, all incited by Radical Leftists. The use of weapons were used to complete the Cloward and Piven resurrection

NOT that it'd matter worth a flying to Trump's MAGAs ANYWAY. Considering 66 percent of them (yes, that's two out of every three) don't consider the riot an insurrection at all, and 77 percent of them don't think Trump had anything to DO with it... as per the right wing Bizarro world alternate reality.
66% of Republicans don't consider the January 6 Capitol riot to be an attack on the government, according to a new poll
"A full two thirds of Republican don't consider the January 6 assault on the US Capitol - which resulted in several deaths and disrupted the counting of electoral votes for several hours - to have been an attack on the US government. That same poll also found that 77% of Republicans don't hold Trump responsible for it anyway."

And wasn't Donald Trump the President of the United States during the unrest following the Floyd murder/BLM unrest? Wasn't the Attorney General one of his appointees? Seems to me that if they had wanted to make a case for insurrection against those folks, they had every opportunity to do so.
Unlettered? hahahahahahahahhahahahahaha

YOU NEVER FAIL TO HUMOR ME WITH YOUR NESCIENCE, MOPBOY.
EVERY LIBERAL STATE AND CITY WERE OFFERED FEDERAL ASSISTANCE WITH THE SOROS PAID RIOTS.
ALL REFUSED. MUCH LIKE THE ASSISTANCE OFFERED TO PELOSI DURING THE JAN. 6 PROTESTS THAT ALSO WAS REFUSED.
ALL LEFTIST GOVERNORS OF STATES FELT THE RIOTS WERE JUSTIFIABLE. BOTH BIDEN AND HARRIS PAID BAIL ON SOME OF THE BLM INSURRECTIONISTS.
YOU HAVEN'T THE SLIGHTEST IDEA WHAT THE CLOWARD PIVEN STRATEGY IS AND ITS USE DURING THE BLM RIOTS.
