I am not backtracking at all. Thousands of people entered the capitol and some of them were merely swept along with the fervor of the moment, and some of them were there to stop the certification of the Electoral College. It did not require unanimity in a riotous mob for the leaders of that mob to accomplish, or nearly so, their purpose.
