One of my friends lived off the grid.. But we went thru a few disasters here in maine.. And i tell you.. it taught us some nasty hard lessons... you freeze here- you die.
we had a huge ice storm in 87.. and  i took in folks freezing.. only for a week.. lol but i was happy to help.

Still you have the most fundamental part of life, water. Rain, snow, ice, lakes, the ocean, etc. Where are you going to get water in the middle of Utah, Nevada, or Arizona? Its easier to warm up than cool down. I have been to these remote wastelands and know first hand.

You have a good point.
But women dont like to be cold... really.
we are different then men.
We can smell no heat? The last incident. I thought I would die.. We were prepared too.. things just went wrong. Mechanical things that were ready... and shat the bed at the last minute..

you are correct about women not liking the cold. My mother still cranks on the heat if the temp is below 70 in her house. I can be shorts and a t-shirt starting at 50 degrees. Now.... make it 110 and I am bitching and whining. It gets hot here in Reno (highs of 102 to 103 at most) and sometimes that makes me consider moving north. 

What makes it even less advantageous for those in UT, NV, So Cal, AZ, and parts of Northern NM.. is that the water does not originate there. The water comes from the Sierras in NorCal, the colorado (sourced from WY and CO), or even southern Idaho.

If I was alone, I would keep my house at about 62 or so.

Another less than great aspect about the desert is the fine dust. Imagine that you opened up a bucket of wheat flour and threw the wooden spoon down into it. As expected, a cloud of white dust would arise and hang in the air. Any exposed skin would be covered in this. Well.. this is what happens out on the salt flats. The fine white and yellow dust gets in your shoes, in your ears, nose, it grinds your teeth, and you find it in the folds of your skin...Any wind at all kicks it up and there is no escaping it.

that is why I said, "if I was alone". Am married but she is not quite as averse to the cold to some. She is good at 68. Where she really gets unruly is when it is too hot. She does not leave the house if she does not have to in July.

I am not a friend in need of being validated 24/7 nor do I validate character. I am the kind of friend that tells someone when they're inaccurate about something knowing people of hope, faith, charity, power, wealth, fame won't tolerate honesty and I quickly become their intellectual foe instead of friend because typecast people mentality follow a simple philosophy, "If one isn't with them, they are against their ideology.". always that two sided narrative.

Where do you think the emotional sense of urgency comes from? Individual brain's self awareness at proportionately alive navigating in the moment here.

I was awarded post of the day once. Now I get my threads moved from NHB to water cooler because I do debunk all realities but in that debunking I reveal real time showing there is no need to stop what society provides an easier more efficient way to survive being eternally separated now.

Only thing corrupting everyone is the idea now isn't eternity and it always was. Ancestries rather believe hypothetical values are greater than understanding only living once, here now.

I kinda got you centered there for a moment, and you made a lot of good sense! 

Keep it at 1 paragraph at a time, and you can be friggin Einstein! Trust me. I kinda roll that way too but i'm at 2 paragraphs... Just focus your mind on 1-3 sentences max. And you will make everyone believers, like I am.
