It amazes me how school administrators allow parents to bully their teachers. Some kids are such assholes, but it doesn't matter. The disrespect, I have witnessed, from kids toward their teachers is nauseating. I would say it is unacceptable, but sadly it is acceptable. They can tell off a teacher, get sent to the office, then come right back in 10 minutes later. They disrupt the learning from the whole class. The teacher has to constantly stop instruction to address the behavior of the same **** kids. The parents? yeah, they don't give a ****. It's the teacher's fault, it's the school's fault. The admin will take the parents side almost every single time.

I hope the teachers one day get together and just say **** you all. I would support a massive walkout, nationwide, from the teachers until these behavioral problems are permanently addressed. That means expel their stupid little punk asses, for good. **** them and their parents. Teachers have degrees. Yes, of course there are some **** teachers, ok...and? Every field has their share of **** professionals. Most teachers have their heart in the right place, and they want to help. They don't deserve this ****. I hope these parents get in a head on collision with a petroleum truck going 90 mph.

You bet they are. Most parents these days can barely read/write themselves, but they want to tell the teacher how to do their job? Idiots.

Furthermore, most parents do not want to own up to the reality that their son/daughter not performing is mostly due to them.. Mostly again.

Yet they own the schools (public) and the school district staff works for them.

A bit off topic but interested to hear what you say. Suppose that a student is failing and not showing up. The teacher calls up and the parent answers. Teacher say, "Sir, your son/daughter is failing x, y, and z". The parent responds with "Yeah... so. What the **** you calling me for". Would you put the blame on the teacher, the parent, or the student.

At most, school teachers do not tell parents to shut the **** up.
They generally point out to students that the evidence shows that the Earth is a sphere, and not flat, and that the proof that we are descended from a man who lived 6000 years ago and his wife, who was made from one of his ribs, and that we are all guilty of the sin of Adam & Eve making a poor culinary choice based on bad advice from a talking snake, is contradicted by a whole lot of evidence to the contrary.

Teachers simply teach the truth and tell students to use their minds to decide what to believe.

In that situation, the blame falls on the student first (after all, they are the not showing up) then to the parents.  The teacher/school is not the fault.

We are not, by any stretch of the imagination, perfect parents.  But we always held our kids accountable...in everything including school.  When they were wrong, we stood firmly with the teacher.  When the teacher was wrong...and we had an incident where a teacher was violating school and district policy...we held the teacher accountable.

My philosophy of life being about the choices you make and dealing with the consequences of them applies equally to everyone.  But if you mess with my kids, I will make damn sure you deal with the consequences.  And that applies today despite them being adults with their own families.

BTW...**** with my grandkids and I just might take you out and ask questions later. Image

I see no reason why a teacher would need to insult an ignorant parent.
At most, he would simply state what it took to be true and defend his position.
I attended twelve grades of public school and took college and university classes at seven educational institutions in seven states and two places in Mexico, and NEVER did I ever have any teacher, instructor, or professor tell me how to vote or what to think.

I’m willing to have teachers be allowed to tell stupid parents to shut the **** up only if parents are allowed to **** up a teacher trying to indoctrinate kids with woke ideology. Deal?

We had a kid that was falling asleep in every class when I was a kid and the parents always blamed the school district and the teachers for their kid failing.

I quit hanging out there after that.

Fair enough. Most folks online lay the blame solely on the teacher. Teachers are a convenient whipping boy for all of today's ills. Refreshing to hear someone be realistic.

Typically it is the parents that are the least intelligent or most detached from their kids that blame the teachers/school. This idea that they the parent have failed demand effort on their part that they are not willing to expend.

The biggest problem I had in helping my kids with homework was my current were not taking notes so I had to learn from the book without aid. And it just pissed me off.

I kept telling my youngest boy to take notes during class. He never did and when the report card came out and he failed.  I didn't blame the teacher.

Another **** question.

Since you love repetitiveness, I thought I would give some to you for your punishment. You're welcome.

Question: How are you able to maintain such repetitive, predictable, redundant behaviors without becoming exhausted from it?
