It's actually a damn **** accurate gun. I've seen professionals hit a bullseye at 200 meters with this exact gun. 

am I confused by scary and dark stuff? Dude...I'm the meanest **** in the valley 

I am a bit skeptical on that but how would I know?

Look we were just talking about our sidearm and I wanted to brag about mine.which is great for some asshole like me who shot guns his whole life but totally inappropriate for grandma.

I just wanted to do that cause I'm cool as **** and can actually shoot guns.

NOBODY who is not very experienced should ever try to shoot my gun. It's gonna suck for you.

.22LR was legal for deer hunting a few years ago. It is a deadly round.
It was disallowed because of too many bad hits resulting in wounded deer wandering off to die.
It requires more accuracy for a kill shot.

I'm not into whatever hype you're referring to.
I just want the little old lady to have a gun that can be practiced without too much trouble (recoil, stiff springs, etc).
That should be balanced with as much caliber as can be managed too.

In her spray and pray (empty the mag as you said), maybe she only hits the guy once.
I want it to more than sting.

I have one. Nothing EZ about it.
Glock is way easier to rack and release slide.

A 1911 is way easier. Too bad it weighs like a small anvil. Not a good EDC for me.

I heard a story long ago about a guy that had a bear bust into his cabin while he and his buddy slept.
My friend claims this isn't ****.

The guy wakes up to the smashing in and grabs his .357 and empties six into the bear's chest.
What finally stopped it was by then the buddy had gotten his rifle and stopped the bear for good.
The claim was that they peeled the six revolver bullets out of the chest.
Hadn't penetrated past the bone into the organs. That only slowed the charge a little.

The rifle, I think was a 30.06, did the job though. Shot placement is less critical if you use a cannon.

  I would also suggest the S&W M&P Shield EZ 9mm.. It's designed for people that are in the same boat as you. 
 It's a breeze to chamber a round. 
 It's smaller so it will fit a person with smaller hands. It's slightly smaller than a Glock 19.
 Recoil isn't as bad as most compact pistols.
 It's easy to conceal.
 9mm. ammunition is easy to come by.
 But it's a single stack gun so it only holds 8 rounds in the magazine plus 1 in the chamber.
 A member on this forum owns one. Huey. It's his wife's gun I believe. He probably has more experience than I do. I never fired one but checked one out when my local gun shop got one in.
 I love my Glocks don't get me wrong but they can be a little stiff racking the slide.
 I suggest going in to a gun shop and checking out a few different pistols. If you aren't very familiar with them take someone knowledgeable that you can trust with you.

Another story...
There was a woman that was beaten by hubby. Many times apparently.
She had enough of the prick and shot him in the back of the head 5 times with a .22.
Which exact .22 round I don't remember. Story is as old as the hills.

She was not prosecuted. He lived because the bullets never pierced the bone.
That is a thick bone back there.

They remained married and he never touched her again. Happy ending through gunplay.
