Acknowledge you were answered. That is the same answer I have given hundreds of times over the years. Your turn to answer. We can't go any further until you choose a weapon off my list.

That's beneath "cherry picking", Here's a Word.Huey » 12 Jan 2024, 9:01 am » wrote: ↑ Can't can't acknowledge it proven.
”have changed the weapon in basic design…”
If I acknowledged that it would be a lie.
Please choose which weapon you wish to discuss. If not there is nothing more to say.

Here's how I know. I gave my wife over 10 handguns to try out. Out of the 10, the 3 easiest to operate were 1) Kahr K9 and 2) Early Dan Wesson 357; 3) Boberg XR9s. The Dan Wesson was too heavy and had too much kick. Here's some other interesting information:
- Double Action Only - less chance of unintentionally pulling the trigger
- Easy gun to rack slide
- Slim grip
- Very reliable, robust, well-made durable gun
- Manageable recoil - 9mm
- Easy to find fairly priced used ones
The only other gun she could operate as well (maybe better) than the Kahr K9 was a Boberg (Bond Arms) XR9-s. But, that one's mine, and if she wanted one of those, I'd have to find her one.
- The Walther PPK 380 was one of the harder guns to rack the slide - she couldn't do it
- The Glock was difficult for her to rack the slide
- S&W J-Frame Chief's special didn't fit her hand well, and trigger pull was too heavy.
No. I haven't tried those. I will definitely have to check one out the next time I go to a gun show.Huey » 12 Jan 2024, 9:26 am » wrote: ↑ Have you tried the S & W EZ options? My wife can rack those. But not much else. ANd the magazines are extremely easy to load.

Does she use a mag loader or just by hand?Huey » 12 Jan 2024, 9:26 am » wrote: ↑ Have you tried the S & W EZ options? My wife can rack those. But not much else. ANd the magazines are extremely easy to load.
Just because you disagree with or didn't like the answer doesn't mean you weren't answered just the same.
Please stop with that **** jive.RedheadedStranger » 12 Jan 2024, 9:37 am » wrote: ↑ Just because you disagree with or didn't like the answer doesn't mean you weren't answered just the same.
It's not jive... it's the truth.

My daughters use the mag loaders that came with their Glocks. They love them.

That's pretty cool!Huey » 12 Jan 2024, 9:42 am » wrote: ↑ Uses one of these:
The magazine has a protrusion that you can use your thumb to slide it down for each round or you can use that piece above.

On the same lines of my previous point... just because you don't like it, it doesn't make it any less true.
No issues with the recoil. It is a neat little pistol.Squatchman » 12 Jan 2024, 9:55 am » wrote: ↑ That's pretty cool!
Just about drop them in.
How is she with recoil when shooting?
That also bothers some people.
My wife can't fire a pistol at all anymore.
Muscular Dystrophy.
But she can use an AR like no tomorrow. It's her home defense weapon.
