She got drunk. She broke a glass on the ground.
She told me hey you **** up sometimes. I said..."when"?
She had no answer. It just got her more angry.

I would try out a Ruger LCRx 38 Special. Can also fire the more powerful +P rounds, but not as much power or kick as a 357. Relatively light weight. Easy to carry. Very reliable. Just need to make sure she can operate it as a "double action" - pull trigger without hammer already cocked back to fire.Warcok » 01 Jun 2022, 6:36 pm » wrote: ↑ Need h3lp ! small hands and not very strong wrists

Now, I was going to let some of this **** go by the wayside, but THIS is just freaking stupid. As if YOU will ever get the chance to fire 5 shots before being attacked by a bear! You doubtfully will even get off 1 shot, and that shot (if you could squeeze the trigger before you realize you are being charged by a bear) would likely be a miss if the bear is charging.FOS » 01 Jun 2022, 9:51 pm » wrote: ↑ You shoot a **** grizzly bear in the neck 5 times it will go the **** away.
Skip the speed loader. But, your revolver advice is good advice.Pepperluciophobia » 02 Jun 2022, 9:25 am » wrote: ↑ I stand by my recommendation

My wife is a granny with arthritis and can easily rack the slide or load it. That and the 9MM version is the only firearms she has been able to rack.

I'm with FOS in that everything she would need to do or be able to do would happen in the first few rounds.Pepperluciophobia » 02 Jun 2022, 9:25 am » wrote: ↑ I stand by my recommendation

Some people think a Glock is the solution to everything. I had to try and help my wife find a handgun she could use. Just for kicks, I handed her a Glock 17 - she had a hard time racking the slide. I tried her on a Walther PPK - even more difficult to rack the slide, S&W 659 - nope; CZ 75B - nope, Browning Hi-Power - nope, 2 different 1911's - nope. And, my wife is neither weak nor old. She is actually quite athletic.Squatchman » 02 Jun 2022, 10:06 am » wrote: ↑ It's the same guy that said a sword would be his home defense weapon.
