The Sovietization of American Life
Behind all our disasters there looms an ideology, a creed that ignores cause and effect in the real world—without a shred of concern for the damage done to those outside the nomenklatura.

One day historians will look back at the period beginning with the COVID lockdowns of spring 2020 through the midterm elections of 2022 to understand how America for over two years lost its collective mind and turned into something unrecognizable and antithetical to its founding principles.“Sovietization” is perhaps the best diagnosis of the pathology. It refers to the subordination of policy, expression, popular culture, and even thought to ideological mandates. Ultimately such regimentation destroys a state since dogma wars with and defeats meritocracy, creativity, and freedom. The American Commissariat
Experts become sycophantic. They mortgage their experience and talent to ideology—to the point where society itself regresses.
The law is no longer blind and disinterested, but adjudicates indictment, prosecution, verdict, and punishment on the ideology of the accused. Eric Holder is held in contempt of Congress and smiles; Peter Navarro is held in contempt of Congress and is hauled off in cuffs and leg-irons. James Clapper and John Brennan lied under oath to Congress—and were rewarded with television contracts; Roger Stone did the same and a SWAT team showed up at his home. Andrew McCabe made false statements to federal investigators and was exempt. A set-up George Papadopoulos went to prison for a similar charge. So goes the new American commissariat.
Examine California and ask a series of simple questions.
Why does the state that formerly served as a model to the nation regarding transportation now suffer inferior freeways while its multibillion-dollar high-speed rail project remains an utter boondoggle and failure?
Why was its safe and critically needed last-remaining nuclear power plant scheduled for shutdown (and only recently reversed) as the state faced summer brownouts?
Why did its forests go up in smoke predictably each summer, as its timber industry and the century-old science of forest management all but disappeared from the state?
Why do the state’s criminals so often evade indictment, and if convicted are often not incarcerated—or are quickly paroled?
Why are its schools’ test scores dismal, its gasoline the nation’s highest-priced, and the streets of its major cities fetid and dangerous—in a fashion not true 50 years ago or elsewhere today?
In a word, the one-party state is Sovietized. Public policy is no longer empirical but subservient to green, diversity, equity, and inclusion dogmas—and detached from the reality of daily middle-class existence. Decline is ensured once ideology governs problem-solving rather than time-tested and successful policymaking.
In a similar fashion, the common denominator in Joe Biden’s two years of colossal failures is Soviet-like edicts of equity, climate change, and neo-socialist redistribution that have ensured (for the non-elite, in any event) soaring inflation, unaffordable energy, rampant crime, and catastrophic illegal immigration. Playing the role of Pravda, Biden and his team simply denied things were bad, relabeled failure as success, and attacked his predecessor and critics as various sorts of counterrevolutionaries.
Biden rejected commonsense, bipartisan policies that in the past kept inflation low, energy affordable, crime controlled, and the border manageable. Instead, he superimposed leftist dogma on every decision, whose ideological purity, not real-life consequences for millions, was considered the measure of success.

SOVIETIZATION to my way of thinking means a middle class of multi-family apartment dwellers who will never own any property outright that can be handed down to the next generation.
I have seen so many nice Country Estates on acreage bulldozed and replaced with Soviet Union style, high density housing it really is sad.
In some cases the property taxes get so burdensome that the owners get squeezed out ..the other scenario has the owner approached by a land developer with an offer that is too good to pass up.
Then what happens is a Domino Effect because once the formerly nice 99% White area starts looking like East LA and Compton with trash everwhere, crime, etc....then the remaining original Land Owners move further out.

He is just another disciple of doubt to me, the media uses to sustain doubt everywhere. Classic patterns of ignoring life evolving as part of the whole experience of mutually timed apart now.
Universal perpetual motion naturally exists in limitations of reproductive cycles compounding the past into different additional total sums arriving until never another generation of great great grandchildren added one at a time.
Philosophy teaches societal evolution 6 degrees of separation using relative time logistics never allowing anyone to discuss the 7th point of personal displacement here now. 8, 4, 2, each, 50%, 25%, 12.5%

That about describes the situation. I'm not one for red-baiting - it usually draws my immediate ire, as it is almost always gay in a bad way. It's mostly for people with very small minds and with very reactive knees. But I strive to keep my world view descriptive as opposed to prescriptive, and the author hits the nail on the head. In this particuliar case, "Sovietization" is a precise fit to events on the ground. The only thing I found disagreeble was his tony in-lumping of national socialism in the cadre of ideologies that were decidedly anti-meritocratic. That nazi germny was on balance a meritocracy is established by its unthinkably, inexplicably powerful results. It was a state the size of Oregon with scant resources and a population simliar to that of England or France, and it rose as a phoenix under national socialism from abject, externally-imposed povery to hold the world at bay for six years. Based on empirical evidence, if anything was anti-meritocraatic, it was the Weimar government which the Nazis supplanted.

I said my ancestry that composed my DNA, my siblings, cousins, nieces and nephews, children. when people decide to believe they choose to ignore the same core that separates everything occupying space now.
why I sought serenity instead of believing in anything else being possible. I was able to stand my time being me rather than wish I was anything other than mutually evolving here.

as I answered. Society destroyed my mom's will to keep living when society's leadership decided to ruin my siblings life for the rest of her time living. My mom was one of those individuals that could actually see events happen before they arrived. I didn't inherit that, but I did inherit something each ancestor receives when conceived.
Compounding total sum of substances never same form twice as a displacement occupying time now. My body is sandwiched between erosion and decomposition rock and hard place of never being more than all I was so far.
arrived a great great grandchild and only reached grandparent status late last year. My siblings are great grandparents putting our DNA composition a generation beyond my grandson. That is the series parallel thing I discuss about evolving only working now.
Again, I discuss the kinetic self evident results, everyone else debates what else is possible. I get typecast out of each reality present, while still mutually evolving as people ignoring how life works naturally and I am the antisocial villain.
