They are mixing missions. They would see an animal remain unloved and homeless, just to bully their neighbors and to virtue signal. What kind of **** is the following statement...
“If your beliefs are not in line with ours, we will not adopt a pet to you.”

Clearly, you favor that which you defend with your sidewys ****, poseur. Just remember, queer: Not everyone who supports a pro-choice agenda has an abortion. I'm pro-choice - never had an abortion. Not everyone who supports the Bill of Rights owns a gun.

It's really too bad that these so called "ANIMAL LOVERS" are using these poor animals to enforce their beliefs.
Who knows how many of these animals will go unadopted as a result.
Let's look at this another way....
I'll bet a majority of rural landowners with 2 acres or more are also gun owners.
In my opinion there is no better way for a dog to live its life than in a rural setting.

You don't want to do that. If they require you to sign something in writing, that will be used as persuasive ammo on a petition or otherwise which will be handed to anti-gun legislators. Just don't do business with that animal shelter. While these places call themselves "not-for-profit" - they make money in fees and donations, and distribute this the people in charge in the form of salaries. Don't so business with anti-gun wack-jobs.
