No, Trump is not running, but this Flores woman has only won an election to serve out the remainder of a congressman who resigned. To stay in Congress past Jan 2025, she will need to run again in November. In November, there will almost certainly be a much larger turnout for the elections, because there will be more state and local officials running as well.
Note that this woman had ten times the funds of her opponent. Her opponent was even less well known that she was.
