Congress and the President have signed off on a bill preventing people with a history of domestic abuse from owning a gun.  If it passes the SCOTUS, Do you think it will make a difference?

That is nothing new.  What is new is how they define domestic partner/wife/girlfriend etc.
BV is in question time out indefinitely, but no earlier than Mar 2026.

So making it federal will have little impact?

Didn’t say that.  But the impetus for this bill was Ulvalde.  Not much in the bill that will have an affect

Laws only impact the law abiding. How many recent mass shooters had a history of domestic violence?

This was always the case. Literally always. If you tried to buy a gun 10 years ago they would look into domestic abuse records.

Laws do not effect criminals. Enforce laws on the books. COP killer in Cal was on probation after arrest and conviction of illegal possession of gun. No new gun laws.

Tennessee already has this law in effect.

Federal government is doing anything and everything to show they have some sort of power over the second amendment
